2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This mouse feels incredible in my hand, it is quick and the buttons are easy to reach. DPI on the fly is also great. I really do love this mouse don't get me wrong.

Cons: I have owned 2 of these mice and both have been defective, but instead of paying almost 1/3 of the price to ship them back to RMA I have just had to deal with it.

My first mouse which I owned for over 2 years would lose it's laser signal and had to be squeezed to get it to light up again. I'm assuming a loose wire. It officially died a week ago and I decided to buy another one hoping that I'd finally solve this terrible laser problem.

My 2nd mouse seems to have a build problem with the center mouse wheel. It is incredibly sticky when depressed and it is overly sensitive. I'll be simply scrolling through a page and the button will click by itself. This is unlike my first mouse where you had a very satisfying and deep click on the center mouse wheel I play a lot of ARMA 3 which is a game that relies heavily on the center mouse wheel. It is not nearly impossible to play due to all of the random clicks being performed by the center mouse wheel.

Other Thoughts: Sadly although I truly love this mouse, the build quality and luck with this product have been so bad that I won't be paying the $11 in shipping to RMA this device for a new one and will be cutting my losses with the refund.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid mouse for the price

Pros: Fits your hand well, right and left button are nice, back and forward thumb buttons are nice and big, durable, good weight, scroll wheel clicks in well

Cons: The max DPI (2000) is fairly average meaning that the mouse doesn't actually benefit much from the other settings, the mouse scroll wheel doesn't scroll well, extremely bright optical laser that you won't get in higher price mice, can be slightly slippery.

Other Thoughts: If you hold the mouse with your entire hand it will feel good to you, I on the other hand like to 'claw' my mouse, and holding it like that makes the side buttons hard to press. That's mostly personal preference although you could say that the mouse is biased in that way.

Awesome mouse, I love everything about the mouse except the scroll wheel which is so bad for scrolling that I had to take an egg off. I would definitely recommend this and I have already upgraded and passed this mouse down to a friend who is getting into pc gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Bang for Your Buck

Pros: This mouse is extremely comfortable. It's a huge step up from a low-tech wireless Logitech mouse. Not only does it provide comfort, its very sensitive and the side buttons are very useful! I use the side buttons for quick commands in my games.

Cons: Not really a con but don't turn the mouse upside down, you might shine the light in your eyes and blind yourself!

Other Thoughts: Seriously, the optical light shines across my room in the daylight. It hurt the first time.

5 out of 5 eggsBudget friendly

Pros: Feels good in claw grip, pads on either sides are very nice. DPI switching is a plus. All plug and play.

Cons: Not a huge con, but fairly sensitive scroll button.

Other Thoughts: Bought it for my girlfriend when our old standard laser mouse broke. . She's very happy with it. Light weight mouse, if that's what you're looking for.

5 out of 5 eggsBest for man hands

Pros: Size
Comfort
Responsive

Cons: Grips have little holes that tend to gather dirt/grime

Other Thoughts: This thing is a beast and allows me to not have arthritis after an extended gaming session due to its wide size. I have wide hands and some mice are uncomfortable but this thing is aces for us bigger people.

3 out of 5 eggsNot the same product I ordered a year ago

Pros: Like everyone else says:
-no complaints on tracking
-very light and comfortable (I have smallish hands)
-quality for price

Cons: Chord comes out close to bottom of mouse. If you have a setup with the chord laying flat on your desk, it may have extra resistance.
Feet--see "other thoughts"

Other Thoughts: I bought a Xornet over a year ago and was quite happy with it. A important feature was the curved mouse-feet, which really limited friction for the mouse. The mouse wheel eventually died so I upgraded to CM Storm's Spawn. I really do like the advantages of the Spawn but I realized that the mouse-feet were flat instead of curved--and thus due to the feet positioning (two large strips, one across the top and one across the bottom) it has more resistance than the Xornet. I wasn't too happy with the new "feel," and since it's taking less materials to have flatter feet, I'm assuming that CM is trying to save a buck. When the Xornet and the Spawn went on sale again, I thought I'd invest in a Xornet to get the wonderful curved feet again. Lo and behold, flat feet. Apparently CM is being cheap.

It's really frustrating, because I bought one mouse (my first Xornet) and really liked it, and bought two more mice trying to get the same quality of the first mouse, and both times I've been disappointed. What's really annoying is that CM Storm advertised the same mouse, but I got a different product. I'm obviously a bit picky, but I feel cheated nonetheless.

....In case I did a bad job explaining my issue with the feet, here's an explanation in more detail: the original Xornet's feet allowed me to apply any amount of pressure in any direction and it would move. The Spawn and the new Xornet need a certain amount of pressure to overcome the resistance "breaking point" and start moving. The same is with stopping--it stops a few pixels before you stop applying pressure. This becomes a real drag when playing anything that requires really fine mouse-accuracy, like SC2 or Osu, or FPS.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Buttons are very clicky and feel durable enough to last.

Cons: The up dpi button wiggles a bit, and the dpi options are a bit lacking for me.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend getting its more expensive cousin.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat and Simple

Pros: Light weight but sturdy, fits nice in the hand, tracks really well. It is just the right size and weight to make it easy to use. Buttons are placed well.

Cons: Grip on sides has little indents that are distracting. They don't feel bad but the texture is just enough to catch my attention. I'm not taking off a star because it could just be me.

Other Thoughts: I use this mouse with the CM Storm keyboard. They work well together and look nice. I just wanted something that would work and be simple and it does that.

5 out of 5 eggsNice cheap mouse

Pros: Works as advertised. Picked up a used Razer Deathadder on the auction site, lasted about 6 months. Picked this up because didn't want to spend 60 bucks or more on another mouse. Use it for light gaming and works fine. No complaints.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: 13 bucks after rebate. I don't see the downside here.
