5 out of 5 eggsThey Sound Amazing

Pros: They were inexpensive and sound worlds better than anything I could have picked up at a local big box store for around the same money. They are quite light and comfortable. Amazing value.

Cons: Not sure. They are so light, I wonder how durable they may be. Only time will tell. Still, for $20 bucks, you can't go wrong.

3 out of 5 eggsThey don't last

Pros: Supremely comfortable on my head. I'm able to go long periods with them on without pressure headaches. Good sound for gaming.

Cons: The build quality of this headset is shameful. I've owned two of them and the cord has gone bad on each of them. The cord construction is so poor that just hanging from the port is enough to damage it over time. The inline volume control is the best indicator that the cord is coming apart on the inside. You will get tons of static when it's bumped or used. I've tried everything from using electrical tape to reinforce the cord at the connector, to tearing it apart, re soldering the cable and hot gluing it back together. It only breaks down at another point.

Other Thoughts: While not the best sounding headset, it's also not the most expensive. The mic was clear on both of the pairs I owned. I would really like these not to fail so easily. Neither set lasted a full year without needing surgery. With a quality cable, these could still sell at normal retail price.

4 out of 5 eggs2 Years Later and still WORKING!

Pros: *Pretty comfortable
*Look nice
*Fairly durable
*Sound is good
*People can hear me

Cons: Its hard to complain about a headset at this price point when it has lasted me 2 years. The one thing I wish it did was noise canceling from the sounds of my life around me! I can hear everything going around my house while I'm gaming. Otherwise its a nice headset.

5 out of 5 eggsbought these on sale will not buy anyother cheap headset

Pros: will not buy any other cheap headset

Cons: ugly as duck. don't like the colors, shape, or the fact that the tip of the microphone fell off so it has no cushion. but nothing is wrong with it just need to fix the dnb in the sound options.

2 out of 5 eggsToo quiet Microphone

Pros: It sounds great
Comfortably sits upon head
Quick and painless install
Found drivers online quickly

Cons: Microphone is VERY quiet
No drivers with product, not a huge issue

Other Thoughts: I ended up buying this product to replace my cheap microphone I had from before. Reading the reviews on this product I decided to give it a try. I also decided to buy a new sound card as well, to hopefully get around a humming issue I had with my previous mic.

Well, these arrived and I was very excited. The headphones themselves sit very nicely, and had plenty of padding to fit around my larger head with no pinching.

The microphone itself was a plug-in into the headset. Quick plug in, and making sure all the plugs were in the correct place on the sound card (also Creative). I was ready to dive right in and test my brand-new mic! Talking quietly and using Audacity to make sure everything was just right.... and I hear almost nothing. Aw, my mic is turned down to 50%, that must be the issue. Crank that up and I can hear the faintest mouse of a whisper in Audacity. Well, then I do tons of research on this particular Mic set. Apparently this is an on-going issue with most of the Fatality Head sets, so much so that they put out a driver to fix this issue, even noting that this fixes an issue where the mic is too quiet.

It doesn't, using the windows 8 (in my case) mic boost, since the NUMEROUS amounts of drivers and alchemy and audigy drivers with programs to "tweak" my sound... had no options at all that focus on a microphone.

I got sound, but now the humming is back because of the boost. It stinks, and I am right back to where I started from...

At least it's comfortable.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: When I put them on, I hear my games clearly and I can't hear my wife
10/10

Bought them for 60% off and for the price, they can't be beat.

Cons: none really

Other Thoughts: I would recommend waiting until this headset is on for a good deal.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Budget Headset Mic is about lacking though

Pros: Great headset for the price, decent sound and mic quality. Very good choice if you're looking to save money

Cons: Microphone is kind of weird after 7 months the cable has to be at a certain angle for the microphone to work which is why I docked two eggs.
