5 out of 5 eggsLove these headphones

Pros: Volume control on the cord. Mic works flawlessly using TeamSpeak. Sounds great, I love the bass in these. I've tried many different headsets and I like these so much I bought a backup pair when they were on the ShellShocker a few weeks ago and a pair for work.

The headset feels a little tight at first, but you get used to it. Earcups feel good.

Cons: The pad on the cross piece hurt the top of my head with extended use for the first month or so. I think I just got used to the pressure on my scalp. No issues anymore.

Other Thoughts: I really really like these headphones. I'm glad they are still for sale for cheaper than I originally bought them over a year ago. I'm not an audiophile but I listen to a lot of music and play a lot of games and I enjoy these very much.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat and Cheap Price !!

Pros: comfortable fits nice long cable sound amazing and they look great and they aren't expensive for a good quality headset

Cons: wish the cable was a bit more thick didn't like the way the volume switch was designed clip feels like its going to rip your shirt while putting it on

Other Thoughts: if they improved the cable thickness and the clip on the volume switch they would be perfect keep in mind I do like these very much and will buy another set if they ever break also it didn't come with the bag posted in the pic !?!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesomeness

Pros: Produces wide range of sound. Deep bass. Cheap price tag. Comfortable.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Yeah, it feels a little cheap and the bass might be too exaggerated. That said, you can't beat this headset for the price! Highly recommend.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good sound quality. Microphone is easy to adjust or remove.

Cons: They are a bit tight. There is no good way to adjust that.
The sound out of the left ear stopped working after a few months.

Other Thoughts: They seemed liked they would be a good headset on initial impression. But with no way to adjust the fit and with one speaker dying after a few months I will not be getting another Creative headset.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset

Pros: Great sound quality, excellent price, and very comfortable to wear. These headphones have some extra padding that makes them very comfortable.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Unless you absolutely MUST have a wireless headset, I wouldn't waste your money on more expensive ones than this. Its excellent quality at a low price.

3 out of 5 eggsBad microphone mute switch

Pros: The headset is somewhat comfortable, despite the padding being relatively small. The ear pieces rotate slightly for a good fit. The headsets block the outside noise better than most cheap phones, so they work well for the office environment.

The sound quality is good -- it's relatively loud and having a volume control is really convenient.

Cons: The microphone mute switch is very poor. I planed on using the headphones for conferencing where I tend to mute my microphone quite often. Unfortunately, the switch simply shortens the microphone wires which causes a loud click to be sent into the microphone input. If you're planning on using the mute switch, avoid this model! Plantronics brand headphones tend to have a well working mute switch that is silent when switched.

Other Thoughts: I took apart the volume control apart to see if the mute switch can be improved. There's enough space inside to put a 100uF capacitor and a 10k resistor (together in series) and have the switch shortening the resistor (all that is connected in parallel with the two microphone wires). That makes the switching from/to mute silent, but it took some effort to do and the soldering is quite small. Yes, it's possible to fix the mute switch, but had I known the problem, I'd had gone with another model.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful headset for the price

Pros: Great headset, sensitive mic, great sound quality, long cord .

Cons: Detachable Mic, seems unnecessary.

Other Thoughts: Great headset, the mic isn't wonderful because it's detachable. Having issues with my warranty, after almost a full year of use the speakers seem to be going out on it.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat headset not so great replacement plan

Pros: Incredible sound quality, haven't had a problem with it until recently, one of the speakers continues to cut in and out with the wire being moved at all.

Cons: I bought the 3 year replacement service plan, and upon requesting the service I was told the item is not eligible. what did I pay for??

Other Thoughts: Wonderful headset for the price. If you can't afford to get a second, save the money you'd have spent on the replacement plan, because it apparently does nothing.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointing based on Previous Reviews

Pros: They emit sound as one would expect.
I assume the mic also transmits sound.

Cons: Very tight fit. Head feels squished while wearing them, and ears barely fit inside.

Poor audio quality. I have a working headset around the same price range as this and the quality drop was noticeable.

Pointless detachable mic. I don't know why anyone would design a mic to detach. I've seen headsets where it retracts, but detaching seems like an odd concept to me. This is a good idea if you like losing pieces of your product.

Other Thoughts: My current headphones are held together by duct tape. The plastic on them is broken but otherwise they work fine. I've been on the hunt for a sale on a decent headset at Newegg and was pleased to see this last week.

Just received them today, and while the audio quality may be acceptable for some, I noticed a huge drop in quality switching from my old set to this.

I expected greater quality when buying a headset with such remarkable ratings. As a cheap replacement headset, this is barely acceptable.

The bit about the detachable mic is only noted in the details section on the product, amongst unnecessary "gamer buzzwords" that cause the average consumer to skim over. When I see you talking about "BattleTalk - Issue orders" I skip past that part. The details section should be simply factual and contain very little subjective information.
