5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard that comes with a mouse

Pros: - The keyboard

Cons: - The mouse

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my parents as their older one had a few broken keys. This keyboard is very solid and fulfills their needs (media control) but the mouse is just terrible. It is tiny and does not track well at all on any surface. Its a good thing their old mouse still works fine.

Logitech excels at making decent products for low prices and this keyboard is no exception.

4 out of 5 eggsWonderful combo

Pros: Great keyboard...almost perfect in my eyes. Soft keys, beautiful finish...and it's not flimsy. USB!!!

Cons: Mouse is good...but I prefer a Microsoft mouse. BUT, this is a Logitech product so I can't be too picky.

Other Thoughts: Logitech rocks!

4 out of 5 eggsGood cheap keyboard

Pros: *USB
*Price
*Works

Cons: I'm using this stashed next to a server and it barely gets used. The mouse is light and cheap feeling. If I had to use that mouse everyday I'd probably get mad at it and whip it out the window.

Other Thoughts: I'd spend a touch more money if you wanted a good combo that you were going to use everyday, but for a seldom used setup (media center or server) this suits the need.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent price

Pros: Keyboard has yet to fail me. Logitech makes good quality peripherals, both cheap and expensive. Response is smooth and precise.

Cons: Mouse is not for big hands, your fingers will drag. More for everyday use. I wasn't expecting this to be the greatest mouse for gaming...but I did expect it to at least track correctly. Instead the mouse will often "lose" its tracking position on the mousepad and think I'm scrolling off to infinity in one direction for a millisecond. This is annoying in RTS or Diablo-like games, and especially frustrating in FPS games. The problem persists on every surface I've tried it on (wood veneer, carpet, mousepad, optical mousepad) but I think it's related to the fact that this mouse has a low DPI optical sensor, not laser. What do you expect?

Other Thoughts: Music keys are kind of...sparse? Only play/pause, volume up and down, and mute buttons. Play/pause doesn't work with iTunes unless it's the frontmost program...and don't work in-game making it basically useless. Sometimes volume keys fail to work, although mute button always does.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a Charm

Pros: Exactly as described; includes a mouse and keyboard. Both were automatically detected on a fresh install of Windows XP Pro, without the need for drivers. The 8 extra function keys also work, without configuration.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: None.
