4 out of 5 eggsSolid Purchase

Pros: Sleek design and comfortable to use for gaming

Cons: Not the best for extended typing but this should be expected from this type of design...barely a con.

It'd be nice to have the macro keys programmable as simply additional keys for mic presses.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I have enjoyed my use of this product.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh, its ok.

Pros: Key Illumination
Lots of macros
Looks sharp

Cons: Hard to clean and keep clean
Not comfortable
Key placements feel awkward

Other Thoughts: I bought this in November 2012 for $42.99. Its maybe worth the amount that I paid for it. No way worth any more than that. I am actually disappointed in it, overall. There's nothing fancy about it. I mainly bought it because of the key illumination feature.

3 out of 5 eggspoor plastic keyboard

Pros: has a calculator key (big whoop)
3 level of brightness (can bit a bit brighter)
18 macro keys

Cons: keys are cheap plastic and break with the slightest pressure on them
hard to clean hand rest
gets finger prints all over it cuz its to glossy
letters fade away after long use
keyboard stopped working after 2 years of use but LED's were still on

Other Thoughts: bought this keyboard when it was only $58.73 idk why its now close to $300

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Keyboard

Pros: I work at home and play PC games when I'm not working, so needless to say, I use my keyboard A LOT. It still types great and feels great. It was a solid keyboard for $49.99 (2011) and still is.

Cons: The back-light (red) has alternating levels of brightness that you can choose form, but it isn't very vivid, especially when room lights are on. My "S" and "D" key is rubbing away so I can see more back-light and less letter, but that is after 3-4 years of heavy use.

There is absolutely NO REASON (no good one anyway) for this keyboard to now be posted for $256, that's insane. There are many many more (and better) options for that kind of money.

Other Thoughts: I should've gotten the X6 since it has detachable keypad (to make keyboard shorter).

4 out of 5 eggsMoves Around

Pros: Bought this board back in 2012.

This keyboard is a fantastic for the price I bough it at. The keys have yet to stick for the amount i use it. The feel is great and key responsive is on point. I have yet to use the macro keys and find it a little hard to reach if I did use them. When typing, the keys are very comfortable and soft.

My favorite thing about this board is the calculator button. With a click of a button the calculator comes right up. Lighting is great and adjustable. Wrist support is some what okay (look in cons for details) but is a good length and slope for my hands.

Has a slick/glossy black finish to the boards frame. Easy to clean and dust off.

The board is exceptionally built/solid.

All in all this is a great keyboard.

Cons: *Very hard to clean wrist support is you get grit in it.
*Stupid high price (if you're willing to spend this kind of money buy a Mech Board)
*Macro keys too far to use.
*Macro key software confusing as hell.

My biggest concern with this board is the inconsistency of the back leg grips. The left side is sturdy and does not move at all. The right hand side however, slides like its on ice. i have cleaned the rubber multiple times with alcohol. soap, and water. Probably just wore out but still.

Last but not least the price is insane. I bought mine for 5x's less than currently listed.

Other Thoughts: If this was priced at what I bought it at, I would highly recommend this board. I play a ton of high APM games and this board handles nicely. Durable, ergonomic design, suitable for gaming, and comfortable feel!

Other Thoughts: This keyboard has a lot of cool features that make computing so much easier!

3 out of 5 eggsNot Worth the Price

Pros: You can setup nice macros and profiles. It lights up nicely in the dark.

Cons: This keyboard is loud, its like typing on a typewriter. In the middle of the night my wife would complain I was making to much noise typing to my pal in game.

The keyboard would randomly alt tab out of my game to the desktop. I found this odd but thought it had something to do with my system. Well, I bought a razer keyboard and I gave the siderwinder to my wife. She had the same problem. I have owned this keyboard going on 5 years, its still here ontop of my shelf... I have tried it on 3 computers and its never worked right.

Other Thoughts: It would have been a nice keyboard if I could have gotten it to work right.. even tho its a loud typer.

5 out of 5 eggsSecond update after owning 2+ years

Pros: I'm still loving this keyboard. the only thing that has spurred me to make a second review is I spilled an entire bottle of beer on this keyboard last night. It was flooded with beer, and it didn't give a duck. I was pretty wasted so I just kept using it. It wasn't until the next morning that I flipped it so it could drain.. Quality keyboard right here.

Cons: Didn't drink the beer.

2 out of 5 eggsPerhaps worth it at 1/3 the price

Pros: Keys feel great for typing
More macro options than anyone could possibly need
backlighting works well
Media keys and rotary volume control are awesome
When it was priced sanely, it was worth the price

Cons: Not very sensitive for a gaming keyboard
Rubber and lettering rubbed off less than a year after purchase
One of the most expensive non-mechanical keyboards out there
Not worth more than about $60-$80

Other Thoughts: While I still mourn the now extinct MS X-6 keyboard, one of the best ever made, the x-6 was serviceable and reasonably priced. I don't know who/what prompted them to price them into the stratosphere, but I would tell anyone looking at these, forget it. Not nearly worth the outrageous price they charge now. For $160 +s/h, go for a good mechanical instead.
