5 out of 5 eggsMushkin Black DDR3 1600

Pros: Quality memory. Heatsinks are sturdy, but not bulky. 16 gigs of RAM, dont know if I'll ever use it to its full capacity.

Cons: none, really.

Other Thoughts: Installed on a ECS A990FXM-A mobo (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135345). Works flawlessly.

I have 2 laptops, 3 desktops, and one Media Center in my house, all running on Mushkin RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM, minor setback!

Pros: Heatsinks are small, so they aren't bothersome when it comes to wiring or larger fans.
Nice aesthetics.

Cons: Had to RMA the first pair of modules because they each failed the Memtest86+ with over 1,000 errors each.

Other Thoughts: Other than the fact that the first set was defective, I still like this brand of memory and their modules very much.

3 out of 5 eggsGood-ish

Pros: One stick works perfectly!
My 4 year old 2x2gb mushkin blackline still works perfectly too!

Cons: The other stick is deffective - will see if I can return it to Mushkin for a replacement.

Other Thoughts: Got this ram for Christmas and got random BSOD and decided to run Memtest86+ turns out one stick is good but the other starts putting out errors immediately after the first test and the errors tally near the thousands by the end of the tests.

I had a 2x2 GB mushkin blackline for 3 years and intend to keep buying mushkin even though I have had this little hickup - provided of course they honor the limited lifetime warranty - sometimes a product is defective but it doesn't mean the company is bad or that other products will be defective - I also have a Mushkin Callisto SSD and it's still as fast as the day I got it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great performance to cost to performance ratio, lower CAS latency than many comparable memory kits, lots of overclocking headroom, and the heatsink is low profile. Plenty of room, even with the large Noctua NH-D14 cooler. Will get a second kit in the future.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Using Gigabyte UD5H motherboard, enabling XMP recognized the correct timings.

1 out of 5 eggsDaily BSOD

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Regular BSOD and "Windows failure to start" on bootup

Memtest86 failure every time.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Stable RAM

Pros: Motherboard correctly timed these sticks and its quick. Even overclocked to ~115% its holding steady without breaking a sweat. Small (but adequete) heatsinks

Cons: Doesn't come in 32Gb

Other Thoughts: I love Mushkin products. Since branching out of my tried and true loyalties, they have won a place in my wallet.

5 out of 5 eggsI've found a new favorite RAM manufacturer

Pros: They work at advertised speeds without any fuss on an ASRock Z77 mATX Pro-4 board. I used to be a GSkill and A-Data guy, but I'm sick of buying RAM sticks with ridiculously tall heatsinks that make it difficult or impossible to put in a large CPU cooler on mATX boards.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Give this brand a chance, especially if you are considering a large CPU cooler!! I want to be able to max out my memory at 32 GB someday (for no reason other than for my friends to think I'm insane), and I like not worrying about these RAM sticks getting in the way of whichever huge CPU cooler I end up buying in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsAs Advertised

Pros: Instantly recognized at correct speed and timings by my ASRock Z75 board. I've been a fan of Mushkin for a number of years, and prefer their heat sinks to the designs many manufacturers now sport. RAM just needs to do its job, and for the price this is a great buy.

Cons: None.
