4 out of 5 eggsGigabyte rocks.

Pros: mother board did as expected , performed straight out of the box, easy setup easy connect , wireless is amazingly fast as expected.
Clocked the same results on speedtest.net as my wired pc, yes it's only been a short time but i've also seen horror stories in short time will report again in six months.

Cons: one con so far, if like me you prefer windows 7 over 8 then beware you will need a cd rom to get this going. windows seven sees no drivers for this board, it will setup via usb but will not see it after setup completes, to get drivers you need cd rom or go to other means to install them. beyond that no complaints so far , still happy and excited with board

5 out of 5 eggsVery good board

Pros: Everything. Wifi was recognized immediately by linuxliteos. Using it for htpc in 4 year old hp slimline case. Have 16 gigs gskill ram, A6 6400K APU, 700 gig hard drive. Streams great even though 40 feet away from router. Booted up immediately, Was very fast and easy to install linuxliteos.

Cons: Somewhat high priced.

Other Thoughts: The reviews almost kept me away from this board. Happy this board worked great right away. Had trouble with 2 gigabyte boards booting up the past few years after building systems. On one had to have the bios cleared first. The other only booted first time after using the screwdriver on power pins technique. After that the boards are running great. Makes one wonder if some boards are not DOA, but need these tricks occasionally.

1 out of 5 eggsDied, RMA was DOA

Pros: Board layout (perfect for Bitfenix Prodigy), included AC WiFi

Cons: Only two fan headers (one 4-pin CPU, one 3-pin SYS)

Other Thoughts: My first one died after one year of light use (small bedroom workstation computer for spreadsheets and web browsing). I was able to explain what happened, and what I did about it, with a tech from Gigabyte quickly and easily via their online support ticket system, and was able to send the board out for RMA (I had to pay shipping). When the board returned, it appeared to be a replacement (though I could be wrong), and when I rebuilt the system, after some testing, I found the replacement board was dead. I'm not sure what I want to do at this point, but I'm quite sure I'll be replacing the board with something else, which will no doubt get expensive.

3 out of 5 eggsUseable but not recommended..

Pros: Alright well mine worked with the kaveri athlon 860k right out of the box so thats a huge worry i had and thankfully it was not an issue, as for Pros so far thats about as far as it goes.

Cons: well for starters no matter what hard drive i use, it takes forever to install windows, installing on a new solid state took 4 hours and then turned around and gave me "No OS found error" ive been through the bios a hundred times trying to figure out why but no go, on my 7200rpm mechanical drive it installs faster "about an hour" and works but still very slow boot. As for boot priority options they are useless, even if i set my main hdd as #1 boot option and it as the priority if my flash drive is still plugged in it will automatically boot from it anyway causing me to either f12 and choose the hdd or remove the flash drive any time i want to boot. the layout is risky, i went with corsair ballistix ram because of fear of tall heat spreaders getting in the way and thank goodness i did. even the ballistix ram still barely fits past a standard 92mm heatsink and fan, had i gone with a wider low rise cooler so that i could fit an extra fan then my ram wouldnt have even been able to be put in its socket. After everything is installed it seems to function just fine, just for some reason installing windows takes forever and even longer with a fail on solid states.

Other Thoughts: all in all this is an ok motherboard, it works, i bought this because i kept ordering the MSI fm2+ mini itx motherboard and my order kept getting cancelled because they were out of stock on most sites, and it still had better reviews then the Asrock alternative. it functions even if not well, so it will do for the time being. but my suggestion is if your wanting an fm2+ mini itx board, look harder or spend more on the MSI board.

5 out of 5 eggsGood mobo from Gigabyte

Pros: All pros. Booted with a10-7850k so the bios was up to date on the one i got. Other than that, set up was as it should be and it operates great.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Always a fan of GB.

1 out of 5 eggsStay Away

Pros: Its ITX

Cons: No jumper comes with motherboard to clear CMOS. Dual boot bios is garbage.

Other Thoughts: Went into bios and brought bios back to stock configuration and saved. WOULD NOT BOOT AGAIN after that. This is not an overclocked system and it worked for a day with completely stock configuration. Simply returning bios back to its own stock configuration is enough to completely destroy the system then I would stay away from this Mobo.

1 out of 5 eggsNice looking board, worthless support

Pros: 802.11AC which is nice if you need the wireless (assuming you can get it to work, see below). Board itself looks solid.

Look at a Noctua NH-L9a for a cooler that just barely fits without clipping your RAM slots, but pay attention to the TDP of the processor you choose.

Cons: Before getting into my troubles, the board has an awful, atypical layout with connectors all over the place. Cooler mount on the board will have slim line cooler fines in an awkward position for exhaust, though good for tower type coolers.

There is no header for a speaker to pick up diagnostic codes nor does it have the LED diagnostic display that some of their other UEFI boards have, so good luck troubleshooting.

Paired the board with an A10-7700K, BIOS was at a supported rev. for the processor once I managed to get a POST. Could not get the board to POST without a discrete GPU in the PCI-E slot, which defeated the point of my selected APU.

Tech support responses were generally slow (2+ days on first response, though I started late Sunday) and limited to Gigabyte's little support portal which is post and wait.

Only suggestions were reset CMOS (I'd already done so several times), reseat APU (didn't help), and try a different APU (brand new build where would I have another APU laying around).

I probably got a lemon board but still beware/be-forewarned. I don't think I'm the first to run into this problem with this board though.

Other Thoughts: Board went back to Newegg as Defective and I bought a different mfg's board. Ii'm now up and running with minimal fuss after a week of messing with this one.

Every Gigabyte board I've bought over the years has thrown some quirk or another in my face though and I've pretty much given up on them at this point.

Now on to the challenges of the case that I purchased!

3 out of 5 eggsShould have listened to Benjamin B.

Pros: Nice looking motherboard, installing everything was pretty easy. Lots of great features. I tend to expect quality products from Gigabyte and they always deliver.

Cons: Does not support Kaveri without a BIOS update.

According to a Gigabyte representative that I read here, they claimed that the firmware update was no longer an issue and it supported the AMD A10-7850K (as it has been a year since Kaveri was released). This is not accurate information.

It's possible that they have addressed the problem but did not go through their entire inventory. I can only speculate.

If you want Kaveri support out of the box and it has to be a different form factor, seek out a different manufacturer.

Other Thoughts: It's a real shame since I didn't want to miss out on a lan party this upcoming week.

5 out of 5 eggsSo Far so Good.

Pros: Worked right out the box. Didn't check to see what bios version I had though seeing as I had the A10-6800K which works with the first version of the bios.

Cons: The uefi is messing up my windows install. I upgraded each version of windows since XP, so Windows 8 said it wouldn't take my key because it was a upgraded key. So I dunno who top blame on this one as my Asus 990FX worked fine.

Other Thoughts: Overall im happy with product. If something goes wrong in next few months ill shoot another review.
