4 out of 5 eggsFantastic product, shame it died

Pros: Cheap, loads of features, TONS OF USB 3.0.

great support!

Cons: It died... other than that and an issue with finding the right USB 3.0 drivers, this is a fantastic board

even though it died I've already contacted gigabyte's RMA dept.

Other Thoughts: after ~3 months it died. A power surge that killed the power supply took the motherboard down with it. It wont power on no matter what I do.

I'm still waiting for it to come back from their repair shop, bet I'll just get a replacement, but their support is pretty great.

It only took a few minutes to fill out the RMA and 3 days for them to receive it.

This thing when paired with an A10k is fantastic as a light gaming rig for stuff like League of Legends and EVE Online. I only noticed bad FPS in the more intensive games like skyrim and TERA when they were at peak settings at 1080p.

dropping in an R9 gpu would greatly improve this.

but still for a budget multi-media rig, this is simply one of the most amazing options for the size and cost.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks for me

Pros: Great Features
Supported A10-7800 out of the box.

Cons: Price.

Other Thoughts: I was very disappointed by the lack of options for mini itx FM2+ motherboards. At time of purchase there was this, and 2 Asrock ones, all round about $100. I've seen intel socket ones as low as $50, where's the love motherboard manufacturers? Makes building a solid APU build on a tight budget much more difficult.

No complaints about how the motherboard performs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Very small, Very tough. Easy to updated everything.

Cons: Wish It supported my gskill 2133 ram. It cant run it very stable. most of the time it wont boot. So i let it down clock to 1600. Any other settings I have tried I still can get it to clock up.

Other Thoughts: I do have to say though. I was using an asrock MB before this. And just by changing to this bored. My fps in games have increased to about 40 fps more than What I was getting before. Love it.

4 out of 5 eggsneed to update BIOS to F4 for AMD Kaveri

Pros: 802.11ac wifi, decent feature set, one of few available mini-ITX motherboards with A88 chipset.

Cons: Motherboard came out of the box with F3 version BIOS. I paired the motherboard with an AMD A6-7400k (Kaveri) processor. Had numerous instability issues with DVI output, system sleep in Win 8.1, etc. When I flashed the BIOS to version F4, all the issues disappeared.

Outdated/incomplete drivers for APU (radeon r5?). Go to AMD website and download AMD catalyst control center.

Other Thoughts: Newest AMD Kaveri processors will boot up and work but are very unstable until BIOS is updated. Flashing the BIOS can be tricky/scary when system is unstable and crashes unexpectedly so often.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Dual built-in hdmi on a mini-itx board was one of the bigger selling points for me, the wifi is a plus.
Like all motherboards now-a-days, has a large complement of features, and everything has been working perfectly (though I did have to manually clock the ram, see cons).

Cons: I'm not sure if it's the ram I used, or this motherboard (which is why I don't take away an egg), but it underclocked my ram from its advertised speed, I was able to use EasyTune to correct the voltage and speed, and it has been stable at 2133MHz with 1.6v.

I used: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory, which is listed on the supported memory list on Gigabyte's website.

Other Thoughts: CPU ** AMD A8-6600K 3.9GHz Quad-Core Processor
MB ** Gigabyte GA-F2A88XN-WIFI Mini ITX FM2+ Motherboard
Ram ** G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory
HD ** Seagate 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive
Case ** Cooler Master Elite 130 Mini ITX Tower Case
PSU ** Corsair CX 430W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
DVD ** Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
OS ** Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM)(64-bit)

5 out of 5 eggsGood for HTPC

Pros: If you are looking to build an HTPC, this here will work great.

Cons: I haven't seen anything bad...yet. I've only been using it a bit over a week

Other Thoughts: I'm running XBMC on OpenElec.

5 out of 5 eggsBest FM2+ Mini-ITX available

Pros: Easy setup
Perfectly fine motherboard layout
Feature Rich
Great price/performance with AMD APUs or an X4 with a dedicated GPU.

Cons: BIOS needed some tweaking

Other Thoughts: The primary complaint on this board seemed to be the BIOS update for Kaveri CPUs not being done out of box, which is no longer a problem and wasn't when I purchased this board in April.

Other complaints seem to be from people that did poor planning for a M-ITX build. Do your research and make sure your parts are compatible with each other and you shouldn't have any problems using this board.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Deal

Pros: Great Board for the price. The on-board wireless is perfect for being able to move the system when Wife wants to rearrange the living room.

Cons: I bought this mother board with the onboard Video and the CPU to match. But found that it is just not strong enough to suite my needs. Microsoft gave the onboard Video a performance score of: 5.4 on both Graphics and Gaming graphics, with new Video card I got: 6.8. I am not a big gamer and I am researching on how to get benchmarks. I will update once I get them and if I remember.

Other Thoughts: Part of my new Build:
