5 out of 5 eggsNice, solid little board

Pros: Great, solid little board. The construction quality is on par with my Sabertooth 990fx...supports fast and plentiful memory, at 64GB's...which, I don't think you could ever want even half of that in DDR3...DDR4, sure...

Cons: Only a 4+2 power phase system(4 CPU, 2 RAM). This makes casual OC'ng doable, but it's better than any other options out there right now...I believe the MSI board only has 4+1(4 CPU, 1 RAM), which makes it not as good for OC'ng memory.

Other Thoughts: I can't speak of the longevity of the board, seeing as I have only had it a week, but it's in my Raven RVZ01 case now and it's been pushing my 7850k at 4.2GHZ with ease, as of now.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent After F6 Bios

Pros: It is stable & runs my G-Skill 2400 Ripjaws with the 7850 APU great. I had trouble with early bios f4 & lower But it is great now!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought the board else where from someone who had trouble

5 out of 5 eggssending the 3rd one back

Pros: very nice layout
i cant knock the board yet, i need to get it to function first

Cons: This is the 3rd board that wont post into bios, the first board would not post at all. nor did any board have the updated f4 or even the f3 bios, the operating system installed with no problems, (windows 7 Ultimate). usb 3.0 not working either. swapped out the apu's with an a4, a6, a8, a10-5800k, and even tried the a10-7850k, (after updating to f4 bios) tried 3 different brands of ram also, still a black bios screen. i even installed an xfx r9 gpu to see if that would help. i used the @bios to flash the new bios from the file. not an issue doing that. my issue with this board is i cannot get into the bios screen to do any settings, it's just a black screen, I can hit the f10 / enter when the screen is black, and it will reboot. but to a black screen for the bios.
every part of this pc build is new, no used parts. I tested every part just to make sure everything functioned proper (on a bench)
I had this setup in an atx board, then the customer changed direction to the itx setup....i cannot get into the bios screen to do any settings..please chime in if you have this issue figured out ☻

Other Thoughts: This seems like it would be a great board, running window 7 Ultimate, everything in the windows experience is @ 7.9 score
the A10-7850k is running @ 34C i couldn't be happier with that.

1 out of 5 eggsthe 3rd board is also a dud

Pros: the layout is perfect for a bitfenix itx case with all the connections at the rear of the board.
Newegg have been great with the RMA's

Cons: this is the 3rd board that wont post into bios, the first board would not post at all. nor did any board have the updated f4 or even the f3 bios, the operating system installed with no problems, (windows 7 Ultimate). usb 3.0 not working either. swapped out the apu's with an a4, a6, a8, a10-5800k, and even tried the a10-7850k, (after updating to f4 bios) tried 3 different brands of ram also, still a black bios screen. i even installed an xfx r9 gpu to see if that would help. i used the @bios to flash the new bios from the file. not an issue doing that. my issue with this board is i can not get into the bios screen to do any settings, its just a black screen.

i had this setup in an atx board, then the customer changed direction to the itx setup....i cannot get into the bios screen to do any settings.. please chime in if you have this issue figured out, or could recommend a board that would work. ?☻

Other Thoughts: the Gigabyte help center is horrible, and refuse to believe that they are sending out boards with old bios on them.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board so far

Pros: This board is currently in my Mini-ITX build, it has performed flawlessly so far. I have yet to test out the gaming side of things just got it all setup again after changing the boot drive. Bought this board on a whim to complete my build.

Cons: Connections all over the place. Did have a problem with the USB 2.0 header not working but after reinstalling windows 7 and the drivers its back working again.

4 out of 5 eggsso far so good..

Pros: very versatile board many cpu options. integrated wifi supports newer ac band. support ubuntu14.04 64 bit nicely. yes even the buitl in blue tooth works. i read alot of issues with the wifi and windows. this may be a windows driver problem. certainly not an issue in ubuntu or at least i have not seen it YET. for now i am testing its stabiltiy by leaving it on all day. temps are on avg 35-43c but thats normal for an amd.

Cons: this is not a gamer board by any means so dont expect it to run massive games. usb ports are somewhat limited. and the wiring may be a nightmare as the connector are all over the place..

Other Thoughts: i have had this board about 24 hours as of this review so it will not be glowing and have 5 eggs. this is my first mini itx build and should be interesting at best. i do not know how well the onboard video works as i added an old amd card to it. i paired the board with a simple a4 amd dual core cpu. @3.0 ghz. but this can be upgraded to most any FM/FM2+ A series. for memory i used a single 1333 4 gb of mushkin silver line. only showing 3.7 in bios. so there is room to expand. this is a budget build for a family member whose needs will be more than met. since i asked what will be done with the build i will build to suit the needs.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: -Sleek black look
-It works
-Cool that it has Wi-Fi but

Cons: -Wi-Fi card keeps dropping signal at random times and no idea what's causing it
- Layout is trash. Great idea to put the FM2+ socket right by the PCI-e lane making heatsink compatibility with a discrete GPU almost impossible

Other Thoughts: My last motherboard messed up in terms on internet connections, so I opted in for the Wi-Fi board this time. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi card keeps dropping for me and I had to waste money on a radiator in order to even have my GPU in there.

It works, but don't expect too much from it.

About Kaveri compatibility... I actually can't comment on that since I used an Athlon X4 750K on this board.

5 out of 5 eggsIt Works.

Pros: It works. It has wifi already. It has a bunch of ports I like.
Booted and updated with a A4 Trinity APU. Kaveri A10-7850K running on it now.
Been working as intended for about 3 months.

Talked with Gigabyte support a fair amount, they were always useful. Nice people.
-Asked why 2133 MHz RAM wasn't running more than 1333 MHz with the A4 Trinity, they said the Trinity didn't support higher frequencies, which is true!
-RMA'd smoothly when the board no longer booted (due to the Trinity APU checking out, not the board - but had no other APU to test the board with at the time)

Cons: Low profile heatsinks like to go out, since they can't go up.
The RAM does not appreciate them going out. Not a true con, since it's small and there is really no where else left for the RAM to be on the board.

USB 3.0 isn't for booting as far as I can tell. Oh well!

Other Thoughts: I'd get it again.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Lot's of features I'd like to use in a small form factor

Cons: Manufacturer's stated response that all Newegg GA-F2A88XN-WIFI motherboards are updated and ready for Kaveri is false. I bought this board with a Kaveri after reading that response in a negative review. Low-and-behold, I get no video or lights on my USB keyboard. Nothing.

Other Thoughts: Incompatibilities are one thing, but don't state you fixed a problem you really didn't. I'll have to waste my time disassembling the PC, to send it back, or to use an older APU to flash. Another APU I'll have to buy.

For no POST/display issue, please check the following:

1. Be sure the CPU is supported by this motherboard, for CPU support list please go to the GIGABYTE website.

2. Check memory requirement and memory installation, be sure the memory is/are seated properly. You may test the board with a single stick to rule a single bad stick of memory.

3. Be sure the ATX 24-Pin and ATX 12V 4 or 8-Pin are plugged in firmly into the board.

4. Check for visible bent or broken pin(s) in the CPU itself (AMD CPU).

5. If you have an add-on video card installed, please check if the card requires additional powers 4, 6, or 8 Pin PCIE power.

6. Test the board on a non-conductive surface or test bench to rule out the grounding possibility.

7. Check monitor for video input selection, VGA, DVI, or HDMI.

8. Avoid using any video adapter or KVM switch.

9. Test with different video cable.

10. Clear the CMOS by taking out the CMOS battery from the battery socket, leave it out for 5 minutes and place it back after that (positive side faces up).

4 out of 5 eggsA fallowup

Pros: You can flash the backup bios by holding down the Alt Key and keep pressing F10 at the Gigabyte screen. But make sure to set it to optimized defaults and that it is a stable bios version before doing this.

Cons: You should also really know what you are doing.
