3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Tiny motherboard, overall layout is nice and the VRAM heatsinks are tall. It looks like it could actually push a decent OC on a small dual core APU, and maybe a small OC on a quad-core APU

Cons: BIOS is somewhat confusing, and the layout is weird; however once you figure out where everything is, it becomes easier to manage.

That's one egg off: Lack of easily navigable BIOS/EFI

For some reason that is completely crud, is that when in the BIOS/EFI, is that, it runs the CPU at full speed, maximum activity at as much voltage as it can take. Causing heat, and causing noise. However, setting it to the 65W max TDP option helps tremendously.

That's another egg off: Running the CPU pinned for absolutely no reason

Other Thoughts: I must say, I NEVER knew that mITX boards are TINY. Not where I can snap it, but where the entire board fits on my hand securely. Its no wonder these boards are cramped with all kinds of stuff to make great power. Kudos to manufactures for making these boards, without them, I wouldn't have been able to build one seriously mean NAS/HTPC box.

(Word of caution, the onboard RAID solution doesn't work in Linux too well. It might have been me, or that AMD doesn't support it, but I had to use a software RAID solution, mdadm)

4 out of 5 eggsNice ITX not sure if it's the best

Pros: Looks good, and easy to work with physically.

Cons: Bios is a stubborn pile of substitute word for a brown substance that falls from a cavity on the FM2 / FM2 + sockets. Does the job, but the Asrock and Asus bios is much more thorough and easy to manipulate the components that rely on this layer of software.

Other Thoughts: Stubborn bios. Doable, but man... it's no where near optimal. GYB needs better software engineers.

1 out of 5 eggsDoA

Pros: Built-in WiFi, USB 3.0

Cons: Board is DoA. Fans and hard drives spin up, but nothing is displayed. No POST, no BIOS, no beeps, nothing. USB also does not work as no lights appear on my keyboard or mouse.

Other Thoughts: Seriously turned off to Gigabyte products now.

5 out of 5 eggsReplacement

Pros: Plenty of ports, WiFi and Bluetooth onboard, supports 64GB RAM, has some decent apps on the ship disc. Feels sturdy. Was perfect for the mini-ITX media PC I built

Cons: Nothing

Other Thoughts: Bought this to replace a DOA mobo from another manufacturer. Super happy with it, lots of ports, the WiFi is strong in this one. In the event I want to go from 8 to 64GB of RAM, the board supports it!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great with 7850K in Linux Mint

Pros: This board has plenty of features packed into a tiny board. The AMD chipsets may be older than some of the Intel ones, but this board still has plenty of the most common and necessary modern technologies.

Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are really nice to have in an ITX motherboard, since many times ITX machines are used as HTPC's or other scenarios where wireless connectivity is really needed, but you don't want to sacrifice a PCIe slot.

Four SATA ports is just enough for this board, since few ITX cases will allow you to connect more drives, anyway.

I also like that this board has dual HDMI ports, giving it yet another advantage when using it in an HTPC build.

This board also supported my RAM at 2400MHz. It was absolutely no problem setting that up.

I also had no issues with my 7850K. It seems that the older boards that didn't support Kaveri are gone now.

Also, the IO bracket is really nice. It has all connections labelled and highlighted, and the back has a layer of foam to cushion against the motherboard when you install it. It might be a silly point to make, but I really like details like this.

Cons: I was quite surprised this was the cheapest ITX FM2+ motherboard with WiFi I could find when I started this build. I honestly thought they would start lower. The price is not particularly bad at all, though; it's definitely worth the price. I was just somewhat surprised.

Other Thoughts: This is an excellent board to take advantage of the graphics power of Kaveri for an HTPC or other small form factors. I'm also quite partial to the black color scheme.

Specs:

A10-7850K (waiting on cooler to overclock)
G.Skill Sniper 2400MHz 2x4GB
Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB
Silverstone 300W SFX PSU
Silverstone ML05B case
Linux Mint 17.1 (2015 = year of Linux! Right?)

5 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Wireless is excellent, has just enough SATA ports for all my drives, and it's well priced

Cons: Not really a con, but I hate how this is the one and only mini-itx motherboard with installed wifi.

Other Thoughts: Love it. 10/10 would recommend

5 out of 5 eggsGood little board

Pros: Lots of stuff packed into a tiny package. Everything worked right out of the box with the following components:

AMD A8-6600K Richland
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 2133
Cooler Master Elite 130 - Mini-ITX Computer Case
Rosewill RG630-S12 – Green Series 630-Watt

The wifi is a definite bonus especially because it can see my 5ghz network. I use it in the basement as an HTPC and light gaming machine. I wanted network speed to be fast so I wanted to wire it to the router directly. Turns out at 30 mbps transfer over wifi is plenty fast. Wasted money on a 30 foot network cable. :(

4 Sata is a big bonus. Not many ITX boards have 4.

Cons: Two minor cons
1. 5 Ghz wifi drops after being left on for several days. A quick reboot resolves the problem. I suppose I can turn the PC off now and then...
2. Ram is clocked down to 1600. I'm not sure why but I don't care enough to fiddle with the bios. I will if someone can tell me I can get a lot more framerates in my games. For now, I rather not risk blowing up my machine.

Other Thoughts: Some folks had problem putting the cpu on but I didn't get that problem.

4 out of 5 eggsWhat I Needed

Pros: Mini ITX, works with A-10 7850K, WIFI.

Cons: Might not be accurate but the wifi likes to skip here and there so I'm going to buy a new antenna for it and see if that's the problem, if not than it might just be my Internet itself.
