4 out of 5 eggsWhat you see is what you get.

Pros: Even though it flexes a little, this board is pretty nice. Everything you could ever want with a Micro ATX that supports DDR3. Except for surround sound but that leads to a whole different thing.

Cons: As much as this board has to offer, the only true issues I had were getting the cables all arranged to help with air flow. They are neat, but are prone to let wires hang rather noticeably which gets in the way of air flow. On the topic of air flow, the PCI's are a bit too close together for a gaming PC. I have a sound card and a dual slot GPU, and the card blocks most of the air flow to the GPU since they are just so close together. But that may be a fault of mine, as I kinda just got a sound card and slapped it in there.

Other Thoughts: Definitly great board. If you are on the fence about it, I would probably tell you not to be, as it is just a great board if you are trying to move some DDR3 RAM (I was trying to move 12 GBs of it from one board to the next as I didn't feel like shopping for new RAM.)
Just get a good smallish sound card if you want surround or at least a sub, since the standard audio would not hit the sub at all. (left and right speakers with the sub on one line. Again, probably something you shouldn't do. I just know that my phone and tablet hit the sub when I do that.)

5 out of 5 eggsTop notch quality at a low price!

Pros: - Great quality
- Worked out of the box
- Even fit perfectly in my OEM HP case
- Compatible with all of the OEM parts
- Dual BIOS

Cons: - Sata cables are bright blue instead of black
- IDE support is really not needed, put more internal usb slots there.

Other Thoughts: This board works great, the only problem I am having is getting it to consistently boot into linux. I think that is more of a problem with linux grub instead of the BIOS. Oh yeah the BIOS is ugly too but I don't care.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid board for the price

Pros: Solid board for restoring an older system using an AM3 / AM3+ CPU to working status. I've had mine now for over a year, and ot has functioned without a hitch since installation over a year ago (although I do experience the V5.0 sound card bug that prompted the release of V6.0 of this board). The onboard sound is actually quite good on this board (and I'm audiophile), except when attempting to do much else on the PC. The IDE port is useful if you want to take advantage of an old IDE-based DVD writer or hard drive. I don't make use of it in my current build, but who knows what I'll do down the line (especially if I swap this board out for use with Linux). USB 3 is nice, but I haven't even made much use of that as of yet (still using mostly either e-sata or USB 2 external hard drives or devices).

Cons: Big downside of the board is the absence of either SATA III or a pci-2 x2 slot (that would allow the addition of an full-speed SATA III external controller). Not sure how much slower my SSD drive is running in real world terms, but I do wonder about it. Onboard video is useless due to AMD's decision to not develop video drivers for use with newer Windows installations, but an extremely inexpensive add-in video card would stomp the onboard video anyway. I use older fanless Asus 6450 card - which is all of $30 dollars today.

Other Thoughts: Given the cost and warranty, this board is a no-brainer for anyone attempting to restore an older system. I wish there were micro-ATX alternatives in the AM3 / AM3+ space, but I guess that we'll have to wait for ZEN for those to show up.

3 out of 5 eggsI like the simple/sleek design, but I hated the bios.

Pros: 775 and it has USB 3.0

Cons: It doesn't have 6/gps for HDD.

Other Thoughts: Not a favorite.

2 out of 5 eggsToo many issues UNSTABLE

Pros: Posted, easy set up, 4 ram slots all, needed connection,s and even an IDE connection which I find still a nice little perk. I enjoy the older blue screen BIOS.

Cons: SATA 3 Gbps only!! SERIOUS!! every board is 6 Gbps been standard for a while. You won't get full speed of a nice build and CPU with 3 Gbps... very unstable with 125watt CPUs... had to return wouldn't work under stress with 125watt AMD FX CPU.. Crashes randomly.. Blue screens during Windows install. Odd problems and completely UNSTABLE! ATI 3000 graphics are worthless. Can't run Skyrim in lowest settings with out heavy choppy-ness.

Other Thoughts: Use only with a lower end AM3+ CPU and for basics. Unless you also want to add a video card (which I find dumb when the board has on board graphics) it will handle nothing well that needs a GPU.

4 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: I'm using all the ram slots, 2 hard drives, every usb port, and the power hungry fx-8350 with no problems. I don't understand how motherboards are so cheap when they have so many components, I'll pay more for higher quality but I don't see anything to be improved on with this board.

Cons: I used a spdif bracket to connect this to a dac via coaxial, after a week or so there was a static sound with the music. I tried a different dac and used optical with the same problem-the output must've fried or something. I bought a usb dac and I've been fine since.

Other Thoughts: The computer is on ~14 hours a day and I've been using this since January 2015.
I use/share this computer for a little bit of everything and plan to have it a while.
4x 4GB gskill value ram (8GB total would've been fine)
seasonic M12II 520W
Caviar black 500gb
FX-8350
R7-260x (small case probs, a 270x would have been perfect)

3 out of 5 eggsSo...

Pros: That it is a low cost micro atx with 4 Dimm slots. Although I have never known anyone including myself that has ever need a backup bios, but I like knowing it's there.

Cons: Placement of power socket is asinine, the power socket should have been placed where the ide connection is as it is a ribbon connection. I really had to bend the wires to fit under my hard drives and other wires to get it to fit. The system fan pin out is located in an ignorant place as well.

NOTE: Takes forever to post and to boot. Don't know if this is unique to my board but FYI

Other Thoughts: Only time will tell.

5 out of 5 eggsUSB 3.0 Mobo with tons of features at a budget price

Pros: Bought this mobo to replace my previous mobo that had 2.0 USB ports. Components look and feel solid. Mobo supports AM3+ and FX AMD processors which is a plus for future cpu upgrades. it was the least expensive board in it's class and came with a $10 rebate so it was a no brainer.

Pros:
USB 3.0 ports
Black design
32GB Ram - 4 dimm slots
onboard video/audio
easy to work with
ver 6.0

Cons: Installing the mobo was not as easy as I thought. Everything was going as planned after I installed the Gigabyte drivers. After I installed my video card drivers, I got the "black screen of death" after the windows logo boot. Solved that by physically re-installing graphics card and hooking back my HDMI and DVI cables. I've installed tons of mobos and this is the first time I experience this glitch.

Other Thoughts: 0verall, very pleased with the mobo and all it's features. The mobo runs my fans quieter than my old Jetway mobo.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Happy - Worked for 3 hours

Pros: Always have good Gigabyte MB boards in the past

Cons: After installing Windows, it worked great for about 3 hours, then the monitor went blank, Then it kept rebooting, Now the fans come on only, with a blank screen. Swapped power supply, and then changed memory and only fans come on. Brand new FX 4300 processor.

Other Thoughts: Have never had problems with Gigabyte boards in the past. Not sure what do do next.
