1 out of 5 eggsGarbage, awful support

Pros: I originally believed this was an excellent board flaunting Japanese caps... I was so wrong.

First board ended up getting stuck in a constant boot loop/no post a couple months after it was deployed. I RMA'ed: corrupted bios (Dual BIOS I guess isn't working?); Gigabyte opted to reflash the BIOS, I trusted them. The board then sat on the shelf for about 2 years up until I deployed it a couple months ago. The RMA board worked for a month then started boot looping again. Now Gigabyte won't fix it.

The spare board was from a competitor brand. It is still working and was cheaper.

Each time the boards were tried with known working PSUs (3); cpus (2) and ram (3 from different branded vendors)

Cons: Gigabyte support is slow; the reps aren't knowledgeable. The RMA work isn't thorough.

2 out of 5 eggsPretty good and solid if it is working.

Pros: Probably not anymore but it was decent buy. No specific issues while working.

Cons: Until it died last week, it worked fine and ok.
It died without any sign. Perfectly fine all the time and it was not responding at all next day. Tried with a few other spare parts but didn't work. It is just passed 30 days so I have to go through manufacturer warranty (3 years). Although it takes longer than what I hoped, I have gone through registration and RMA approved. New board arrived in a week.
Now it just running infinite power cycles after I installed. No boot or bios level, just power cycle - tried to power up and off. A few second later, repeat. Contacted again but since new board has been issued, no more replacement until it is "proven" motherboard's fault. I contacted tech service dept. instead. What a terrible experience! Representative just kept repeating things like what could be "possible" problem and on and on. She even asked me to check if CPU is ok by trying other motherboard that I may need to buy. Interesting suggestion indeed! Buying a motherboard to test CPU to tell them the situation.
Well... I'm giving up now. It is a little bit early for my upgrade cycle but not much choice. Maybe it is just a bad luck but I'm not going to touch GIGABYTE product for a while.

Other Thoughts: Still funny thinking about buying a motherboard to test other parts. Maybe it is in their manual.

5 out of 5 eggsBoard works, no probs, great features

Pros: Worked as designed, no surprises, this was my first board from Newegg, have now bought 3. Never a problem.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: For an IvyBridge CPU, a great board. Lots of features. Surprised by what I paid for it a year ago ($72) compared to what I just paid for a Haswell board ($39). Both loaded with desired features.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking good

Pros: Price was right, has 4 RAM slot vs 2 in most of the boards this size. With an SSD drive I am experiencing about 5 second boot ups with an i5 CPU. I'm impressed!

Cons: Only 1 SATA 6.0 port

Other Thoughts: Bought this to replace a failed ASUS board on a computer that I built for someone else. He does taxes and didn't want to take a chance on just repairing this machine, so he had me build him a new one. I 'inherited' the broken down computer and bought this board to resurrect it. Worked like a champ. Hoping it will last for years to come.

4 out of 5 eggsGood mobo

Pros: Works great for the cost and size.

Cons: Outdated socket type by this point, maybe should be brought down a bit in price.

Other Thoughts: Make sure to update your bios

5 out of 5 eggsi've had this board since 2011, zero issues

Pros: first off people complaining of continuous boot cycle are not the best installers imo, the board does this with a speck of dust between processor and pins happened to me one time after owning for 4years and simply cleaned the connectors and fixed the issue, no issues rapid boot works well with my set up all ports going strong still, great company, quality products

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsSolid product

Pros: Works fine with an i7 3770S, Cryorig H7, GSkill Ripjaws RAM and a GTX 970 on Windows 10. Have had no issues since putting it all together and first boot.

Cons: Only con is the audio jack is finicky, and when moving my case (Rosewill Legacy U3-B the sound crackles or cuts out.

Other Thoughts: A solid motherboard all-around for the non-overclocking user. Ordered on Nov 18th, 2015 and shipped quickly. Zero issues since.

1 out of 5 eggsSecond Gigabyte Board Boot Cycle Issues

Pros: Easy BIOS interface.

Cons: Unfortunately this board is old, so I'm not sure Gigabyte cares anymore, but don't buy this for your 1155 HTPC! I was going to make a Hackintosh with an i7-3770K, but after installation and setup, the board started to boot cycle, with no access to the BIOS. "Dual BIOS" feature seems to have failed me this time (this is my second Gigabyte Board with the same issues). I was hoping this board wouldn't have the same issues as the last, but I've tried different PSUs, different RAM, and a reseat of the CPU to no avail. Returning, and hopefully buying something else.
