5 out of 5 eggsGigabyte, always good~~

Pros: Nice looking, durable design... I dropped it at 1st day and think it is damaged... lol 6 SATA3 are enough.

Cons: 1 pcie could be covered by graphic card, but you can use other PCI port.

2 out of 5 eggsEhh

Pros: It holds the memory and CPU in place...

Cons: One of the PCIe slots died after about 3 months.

Other Thoughts: Expensive to have a problem that soon into the life of a board.

3 out of 5 eggs**UPDATE**

Pros: Decent Board, affordable.

Cons: Bios Menu isn't that great if you've owned other higher end boards could take some getting used to.
Has issues recognizing SSD, can be resolved but the issues are present.
Be careful if you plan to put 4 sticks of RAM in this, I've had nothing but trouble with this board since i added another 2 sticks. Yes they are exactly the same speeds & timings. Problems is that i cannot adjust them to get the speeds out of them that they are capable of without out getting a failed boot message. Previously an ASUS customer but thought i would give a new guy a try. Until now i haven't had an issues BUT its enough for me to want to go back and just stick with what i know. 800mhz doesnt cut it when you paid for 2400MHZ.

Other Thoughts: Waiting for a response from Gigabyte support as online forums have got me no where. will update with reply and end result.

5 out of 5 eggsNice MOBO

Pros: Lots of PCI Slots, Sturdy build quality, 4 Fan headers, Nice Onboard Sound, Nice OC options, USB 3, 4 RAM banks.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: I've got this board running a 6350 FX OCed to 4.42GHz (I had to up the voltage to 1.52) and it's very nice. Running Windows 7 with 2 SSDs @ 6gbs and everything seems really smooth. It's got an R9 AMD 270X video card, 2G memory and I think I'd rather have an Nvidia 960 because the AMD cards just have an annoying flicker when starting videos or games. Seems to be a common issue with these cards (Drivers and software control is just garbage it seems) but over all the MOBO seems very solid and runs nice and cool. Being it has 2 PCI X16 slots I will eventually add another 270X card in Crossfire. Also I like to mention the onboard sound is great, I did not expect that. Separate jacks for various options which I used one for a stand-alone woofer. The include Dolby software helps as well. Also not real sure about the Network control software, it doesn't really seem to help other than lag things out for me. It comes with a lot of nice software utilities, one of which to change your BIOS boot graphic which I really like doing. One minor issue is that I could not get an Aukey USB 3 PCI card to work but could be some sort of conflict or user error on my part which is not a big issue because it has 2 USB ports in back and a USB 3 board port for a front panel connector. Tons of USB 2 ports and headers. I did see an F3 BIOS update but have not installed it as I don't see a need for it, not sure if it even applies to me. Also I should say that I am using 4 different brands and speed of RAM sticks and all underclocked to around 1333 or so and it seems fine. I'm in no hurry to upgrade the RAM just yet but eventually I will to some nice 1866+ sticks I guess.

Over all this seems like a very nice motherboard. I most so small 3D models, some gaming and a lot of Photoshop and Illustrator work and it runs great!

If anyone has any tips for me please do share!

1 out of 5 eggsBad

Pros: Looked nice...the rma started off quickly, Newegg pays for shipping, waiting for a refund.

Cons: The rating system for this item is misleading. I didn't realize it had so many DOA's until mine arrived dead and I started digging into the reviews. It came in an open box, the manual says there should be 6 Sata cables, but they were missing and the board wasn't booting or making any sounds.

Other Thoughts: The graphic cards came in an open box too, but I can't even check if it's good. CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD that I ordered holds power but every other of its functions, meaning the lcd is broke. Got to love online shopping nowadays.

Pros: - Good Looking
- High End Hardware
-

Cons: Can't turn the fans to your own custom speed like MSI can but i refuse to buy MSI because they have terrible customer support

Other Thoughts: i would like them to add a feature where you can add your own custom fan speed controls

5 out of 5 eggsAS ALWAYS, ANOTHER PHENOMENAL PRODUCT FROM GIGABYTE AND NEWEGG

Pros: Multple PCI Express slots, and GPU flexibility

Cons: Could use a few more SATA 3 ports, but 6 is ok for most people, just not quite enough for me.

Other Thoughts: Lightning fast and stable to a fault great compatibility spectrum for memory and processors, multiple GPU possibilities, the future is bright for this system. And as always there isn't enough time in the day to say how much NEWEGG ROCKS, there should be a way to give 10 stars for the unbelievably great customer service NEWEGG gives. If ANY other online stores were half as good as NEWEGG the world would be a better place.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth the headache

Pros: Didn't set fire to the local village. Functions once you get it to boot.

Cons: After installing the mobo drivers boot time takes 5 minutes on SSD. Tried 3 fresh installs, made sure processor and RAM were supported. "oh well maybe your configuration..." I have built well over 100 pc's with countless different parts and have never had this issue before. I'm sure there's some fix, but it's not a headache a really feel like dealing with.
