5 out of 5 eggsLasted me a long time

Pros: For the time this was a great board and stayed reliable through out the years.

Never had any issues with the board aside from an odd problem in its later years where it refused to turn on for 2 days. (Cleared CMOS and it was fine)

I am not sure if it was the board 100% so will not knock off an egg.

Cons: None I can think of.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat mother board

Pros: This mother board has been a dream. Easy set up, looks great, performs great.

Cons: It did die on me, but see other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: The board did die on me and I am currently waiting for it to come back from gigabyte. It was the boot loop that people were talking about but it got progressively worse. It would get to the windows loading and then power off almost as if I did not have enough power for the machine. My last mother board (ASUS Striker Extreme) died in a similar fashion. Living in a house with poor power and a PSU that I have not been to fond of I am going to chalk this up to unclean power for both the boards. I have already purchased a power conditioner and a new psu to remove that possibility in the future. The only really frustrating part and I may have just missed it somewhere but I did have to pay for the shipping back which ended up costing me about $16. Not the end of the world, but it was the first time I had not been given a shipping label from the manufacturer.

Over all I have had a very solid experience with this board minus this hiccup, but if it's resolved when I get my board back then no harm no foul.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Board!

Pros: SATA 6gb, USB 3.0, eSATA, LGA1155. Plenty of great features on this board. The black theme looks great and the board itself really feels like it's a quality-made product.

No errors on initial boot, and it hasn't skipped a beat since. Quickly after I set up Windows I went straight to the bios and upped the multiplier to 40x on my i5-2500k and to this day has not crashed once.

In combination with an HD 6950 1gb and oc'ed i5-2500k at 4.0ghz as well as 8gb of ddr3-1600 CAS8 ram, I can run BF3 at all high settings (I don't believe it's on ultra) at 1080p resolution.

Cons: Setting the rear eSATA port to work was a little confusing but after an exchange with Gigabyte support all I had to do was change the controller mode in the BIOS to AHCI. Now I could do that with my front case eSATA port but I found out that if I do that, all my hard drives become part of the "Safely remove a device" list, and I don't feel comfortable with that.

Other than this small nitpick I have no complaints.

Other Thoughts: My setup:
Core i5-2500k 4.0ghz
Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4-B3
G.skill DDR3-1600 CAS8 2x4GB
WD Black 500gb SATA3
WD Blue 250gb SATA3
Sony Optiarc DVD-RW SATA
Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 1GB
Cooler Master Hyper 212+ cooler
Cooler Master HAF 922 Plus case
Corsair 750W PSU

5 out of 5 eggsLegit

Pros: I love this motherboard, it hasn't caused me any issues (except 1 see cons). Everything is logical on it and you can tell it was made right. I'm not a computer genius but I installed everything myself and my computer worked right off the bat!

Cons: This is nothing to do with the motherboard itself. One of the included software programs will do auto-overclocking. I installed it but did not activate the auto-overclock feature. However, battlefield bad company 2 would always crash to BSOD about 15 min into the game. After lots of research online, I found out that the auto-overclocking software caused this. So I uninstalled it and sure enough, that's what was doing it, not the game will run for hours flawlessly.

I feel like the software must have been doing some kind of overclocking despite me not ever activating it. I'm content though, not a big issue.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board for the price

Pros: Great board for the price
Nice color scheme
easy Bios

Cons: I can't say I there really are any so far.

Other Thoughts: I don't know what some people did to have so many problems with this board but it is great. To start with the color scheme looks great and it uses good quality parts. The board also seems thick and durable. The Bios was easy to set up and easy to use for overclocking. There were also no problems with boot loops or dead pci-e slots. For the price this is a great board. If you want a really good mobo but don't want to spend $300 get this board

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: It was easy to install and came ready to work. Nothing appeared to be wrong at first, but that soon changed on my first start up.

Cons: Mine was shipped defective. After building my first desktop it took a while to troubleshoot the problem. I sent it back and I couldn't buy another because it wasn't in stock. I switched to ASUS because I wanted to finish building my desktop and its worked just fine.

Other Thoughts: Not bad for the time I had it, just hope yours isn't defective!
