Verbatim UltraLife Gold Archival Grade Storage media 4.7GB 8X DVD-R 50 Packs Spindle Disc Model 95355 - OEM

Verbatim 95355 UltraLife Gold is a 50-disc spindle of 4.7GB, 8X DVD-R media marketed for archival storage, making it suitable for people who want to record and keep backups, photos, or home movies on DVD using a compatible DVD-R drive.

Recommended For

• People creating offline copies of small, finalized files—such as documents or completed project snapshots—who want write-once DVD-R media and can store the discs carefully.
• Users making a separate, occasional backup copy of a small collection who value physical media, while keeping another backup and checking that burned discs are readable.
• People with a DVD burner and compatible playback devices who need standard DVD-R media; Verbatim describes the gold layer as supporting longevity and the silver layer as supporting compatibility.
• People who prefer to burn a batch of infrequently changed files once, then keep the discs as portable, separately stored copies rather than as a frequently updated working library.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• A family wants to keep a set of photos or home videos offline; burning them to write-once discs creates labeled, physical copies that can be stored and retrieved later, but they should not be the only backup.
• Someone making a small, rarely changed file archive can burn documents or photos for offline storage; checking that the burn reads correctly and keeping another copy helps reduce the risk of losing data.
• A videographer or family member preparing home movies for relatives can burn DVD copies for viewing or keepsakes; playback depends on the recipient having a compatible DVD drive or player.
• A small office handling a modest batch of records can make write-once offline copies for storage or handoff; the limited capacity means large collections need multiple discs, and the discs should be stored and checked with care.
• Someone distributing the same files or recorded video to multiple people can burn separate discs in a batch; recipients can use them if they have compatible DVD-reading hardware, but the discs cannot be rewritten like a USB drive.
