Blu-Ray Discs are an optical disc storage medium. The physical dimensions of Blu-Ray Discs are the same as DVDs and CDs. The capacity of a Blu-Ray Disc is almost six times of a normal DVD Disc. A single layer Blu-Ray Disc can store 25GB, and the two-layer / double layer Blu-Ray Disc can store 50GB. "Blu-Ray burners" refers to two optical disc formats that can be burned, or recorded on. BD-R discs can be written to once and BD-RE can be erased and re-recorded multiple times. The recording speed of BD-R is 4X/6X/8X, BD-RE is 2X.
