We regret to hear that there is an issue in initializing the drive and noises from the drive. We strive to deliver the best possible experience with our drives. Although drive noise may initially seem concerning, in some cases, it’s perfectly normal. For example, noise can occur when data is being read or written to the drive. You may hear a “soft” click or “chattering” noise as a result of this. Noise may also occur when the drive is spinning up. Other times, noise can result as a product of the environment. In other words, sometimes the noise may not come from the drive. Work environments may produce noise.
