ROOFULL External CD DVD+/-RW Drive, 8 in 1 USB 3.0 Type-C CD ROM DVD Disc Optical Drive

ROOFULL ?RF40-SU External CD/DVD Drive with USB Hub & SD Slot for Windows and Mac Laptop PC

As computer manufacturers focus on creating thinner and more portable laptops, the optical drive has become increasingly obsolete. Many of today’s laptops no longer include built-in CD/DVD drives, and some even feature limited or only Type-C USB ports to maximize speed and slimness. While this design improves portability, it leaves us with the challenge of accessing our nostalgic 90s CD collections or watching DVDs on our newer devices. You might also find yourself in need of a CD/DVD drive for some tasks like burning music, video, photos to blank discs, copying files from discs to your computer, data backup, or system backup, etc.

Luckily, we’ve got you covered. This all-in-one external USB 3.0 CD/DVD drive with a 2-in-1 USB A/USB C cable, offers both reading & burning capabilities and integrates a range of USB ports Hub and SD/TF card slots to accommodate all your peripheral needs—at an affordable cost. This way, you can enjoy the latest laptops with powerful processors and graphics while still having a reliable optical drive for those special moments.

ROOFULL External CD DVD Drive USB 3.0 USB-C with 4*USB Ports and SD/TF Card Slot

Reliable Quality & High Speed USB 3.0 & Supported Disc Type, Speed, Media Format

Reliable Performance: With over 10 years of experience, ROOFULL is dedicated to producing high-quality external CD/DVD drives. Each unit uses a brand-new mechanism with strong error correction, low impedance, and excellent anti-interference, ensuring smooth, quiet, and stable performance.

Upgraded USB 3.0 not only supports high-speed transfers up to 5 Gbps — 10 times faster than USB 2.0 — with DVD 8X and CD 24X max read/write, but also offers smooth, stable, and reliable operation with enhanced error correction and noise reduction for long-lasting use.

Supported Disc Types: Support the reading, burning (writing/rewriting), and ripping (digitizing) of multiple types of discs, including CD-ROM, CD-R, CD±RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, DVD±R, DVD±RW, DVD±R DL, VCD, SVCD. (Blu-ray, 4K, and some M-discs are NOT supported)

Max Read/Write Speeds: CD-ROM 24x, CD-R 24x, CD±RW 8x, DVD-ROM 8x, DVD±R 8x, DVD±RW 8x, DVD±R DL 4x. (Tips: The drive gradually increases speed from the inner to the outer edge, with a slower startup speed that reaches maximum performance as it progresses.)

Safe Burning & Ripping Speed: While the maximum read/write speeds for CDs are 24X and 8X for DVDs, we recommend burning or ripping at 10X or lower for CDs, and 4X to 8X for DVDs. Slower speeds, such as 4X or 8X, are ideal for ensuring data integrity, especially with high-capacity or dual-layer discs. These speeds enable more precise data encoding, reducing the risk of read errors.
