The Magellan Roadmate 2200T might not take you around the world, but anywhere in the US or Canada is fair game. The advanced GPS receiver is WAAS/EGNOS enabled so it can pinpoint your position to within 5 meters. Once it knows where you are it will plot your route on the 3.5" touchscreen.
You can use any one of four standard mapping algorithms: shortest time, shortest distance, maximize freeways and minimize freeways. You can also tell it to avoid toll roads. The SmartDetour feature prompts you to adjust your route around sudden stops in traffic.
