Pros: The other person who left a review saying you can't get the full 100Hz unless you lower the resolution has no idea what they are talking about and clearly doesn't know how to use a computer/install drivers/adjust display properties. This monitor fully supports 100Hz at the native 3440x1440 resolution both in the DisplayPort connection and when you choose the correct HDMI input. The monitor also gets really bright, and I have found colors to be surprisingly accurate without looking washed out. Furthermore, the added RGB ambient lighting on the back is pretty cool (and it has to be turned on via the menu), whereas the blue projected Westinghouse logo has its own dedicated button for turning on and off (the first button on the far left). Also, the stand is super sturdy and the legs are made out of metal. Overall, a very robust stand, which is why I chose this over the comparable Sceptre.
Cons: The included DisplayPort cable is rather short, maybe about 4 feet, so make sure you get a longer cable. Menu navigation is a bit of a pain, I much prefer navigating menus vertically like you get on Dell monitors. The buttons are hard to see in the dark, and you have to "feel" and mentally count which button you're on so you don't press the wrong one, which can make navigating the menu a little slow and tedious at times. With that said, those are literally my sole two complaints. A short cable and navigating the menu. So if you can live with that, you will have no problems enjoying this monitor, because every other feature about it is a solid pro.
Overall Review: This is perhaps the best bang-for-buck 34" monitor you can buy, especially when Newegg had it on sale. I play a bunch of CSGO and while 100Hz isn't a huge upgrade from 60Hz, you can still tell a little bit of difference. I mostly bought this monitor because of the screen size, resolution, refresh rate, and aspect ratio in order to replace two 24" 1080p monitors I was using on my secondary PC, and I also prefer it over the 4K 60Hz monitor on my primary gaming PC. I use it for gaming and professional photo editing, even though photo editing isn't its intended use, but it really gives you the best of both worlds. The only Westinghouse products I had used in the past were cheap Black Friday TV's, and I never found them to be very impressive but I didn't care because of the price. I have to say I am EXTREMELY impressed with the quality of this monitor and it is shockingly just as good as others that cost a few hundred bucks more. If you are in the market for a great gaming/multimedia/productivity monitor and don't need 144Hz or 240Hz or 4K resolution, definitely get this one as I promise you won't be disappointed.
