Pros: -Has most of the connections you could want including M.2 for new SSD's. -AC WiFi -Awesome BIOS and applications -Stable so far -Feels sturdy/well built -8. Count them, 8, USB ports! And 4 are 3.0!

Cons: -M.2 plug is actually on the underside of the motherboard, so if you're planning on upgrading to that you'll need to completely remove it from the case. -The WiFi antennae headers interfere with the front panel audio out, making it difficult to plug both in. -Thankfully they include a front panel I/O organizer, because good luck getting those plugged in with everything else going on in there.

Overall Review: Put this in a BitFenix Phenom case for a mini-ITX gaming rig. Managed to cram 3 HDD's and an SSD into it along with an R9 270. I'm just waiting for it to overheat... -Only has 3 fan headers (all 4-pin though), one more wouldn't hurt. -My case has room for many more drives than the 4 SATA connectors allow for. 6 Would have been nice... but there isn't any more room. In any case, putting two on either side of the RAM slots was a strange decision for cable routing. For all my nit-picky complaints, this board does have a lot going for it, but with some minor layout issues you have to wonder if it would have been better with fewer features... but then you come to your senses and realize its actually quite good.

Pros: Good quality, good packaging WiFi works great for me The placement of items on this board I feel is superior to a lot of the other z97 ITX cases. Updating the BIOS was completely painless. The options in the BIOS for overclocking and other things are endless.

Cons: This applies for all ASUS boards. The AI Software suite will give you c̶a̶n̶c̶e̶r̶ 2 minute boot times. I recommend only installing parts of it if anything at all. Most of the things the software suite does can be done better with other software or through the BIOS.

Overall Review: I would've rated this 4-5 stars. I had a slight problem flashing BIOS from boot drive within Windows and got stuck in BIOS asking to reflash with same BIOS file and getting "reading failed!" message. Don't use the flasher utility within Windows, flash BIOS only from the BIOS utility (USB). My main annoyance has been with Bluetooth. I have been at the PC for hours installing and reinstalling drivers to get my devices recognized in Windows. The device shows in Device Manager but as it turns out the range for the bluetooth module on this machine is incredibly poor. I stood with my phone next to the PC case and finally got it to recognize and pair but as soon as I get more than say a few inches from the machine it will be too far to communicate and initiate any kind of connection. It seems to me this could easily be solved with a driver update. The range is pathetic, unusable.

Pros: A lot of stuff in an ITX form factor

Cons: The small form factor can require some patience when installing everything

Overall Review: A few of the connectors were tricky for me, mostly because it's been several years since my last system build. Install as many of the connections as possible before installing your cooler, power supply, graphics card, and hard drive. I forgot to connect the WiFi antenna until everything else was in the case, so that ended up being kind of a pain.

Pros: The Z97I-PLUS has a great layout the allowed me to fit a giant CPU cooler even with tall RAM. The bios (UEFI) is pretty straight forward and allowed for the XMP overclocking profile for my RAM with one click. Any changes that you make are detailed before you save and exit, so that is a big plus to verify you didn’t accidentally change something while you were in there. The built-in WiFi is also very fast, has excellent range, and a great antenna that can be magnetically attached to your case (It’s on the top of my case in the photos).

Cons: I do have a few minor cons for the board. The wifi connections to the board when you install it are a bit of a pain to snap down and you have to punch out two holes to screw the antenna connectors (did it with a small pair of pliers). The IO shield is also padded, which you think would be a plus but is a pain because the board would not fit completely flush with the case. I managed to get it to fit and the connections are solid but they should have not padded the shield. Last con is that it did not come with motherboard mounting screws (luckily my friend who helped me build it had some in his toolkit).

Cons: Front panel audio connector placement (see other thoughts) Other than that none, it was a great product and would highly recommend.

Overall Review: My only gripe with the board is the fact that the front panel audio connector is located directly underneath the two wifi modules connectors at the back of the board near the I/O panel. Terrible placement and requires me to have a cable running across the mobo. However it doesn't affect anything and is easily overlooked with my gpu sitting next to it, no need to deduct an egg for that. All in all it is a great board that arrived with no defects. Automatically detected my ram and pushed it to the 1866 Mhz that it was manufactured to run at. Detected that I had a pump attached to the cpu fan header and adjusted accordingly. Also detected that I was using a fan splitter and optimized my fans automatically. After researching many z97 mini itx boards I settled on this one and am glad I did. Posting right out the box without issues and without a need to mess with too many settings I was impressed. I highly recommend this board to anyone. Pros: front usb 3, WiFi, M.2 Basically every feature that a high end z97 ATX mobo has in an itx platform. This board was perfect for my RVZ01 build.

Cons: None as of yet. I have only had the board a few days and I have had zero issues. As far as people complaining about the Bluetooth not working correctly, mine works flawlessly. As far as reliability I can only expect the best. I have RMAd a 990fx saber tooth

Pros: - Very well laid out motherboard - Good IO shield - Multiple thermistors for monitoring temperature is nice - Memory compatibility check feature is nice

Cons: - Having to screw the wireless adapter connections to the back of the IO plate is a little odd (makes for a not so tight connection). - I had to install the updated bios from the website in order to get it to boot properly (had high system instability before update) - USB 3.0 ports failed after driver install - Some downloaded drivers from ASUS website were corrupted - CPU retention bracket interfered with 3rd party cooling backplate

Overall Review: It was a little upsetting that I had such difficulty getting the motherboard and hardware working in tandem in Windows. I've built several computers over the last 15 years and this was one of the bad installs. I originally thought the motherboard was dead (or at least flaky). It runs normally after much headache. It was pretty disappointing. (Case installed to is Corsair Obsidian 250D)
