Q: How can i wire this so that its a charging and discharging bms without having separate charging and discharging ports?
A: Connect your charger directly over the battery terminals but make sure you use a charger designed for LiFePO4 batteries (LFP charge profile). Then run your load through the BMS.
Q: is there a diagram for wiring 4s2p? or does it follow standard wiring?
A: Standard. Just wire the battery cells themselves in 4s2p.
Q: how can this board supports 4 12volt batteries when you say 15 volts is max charge voltage, to charge 4x12v bat in series is 54volts
A: This is a 4S BMS. Each LiFePO4 cell is 3.6 v max which would give you 4 cells at 14.4 v at full charge.!!! DO NOT USE 12v LED ACID BATTERIES WITH THIS BMS!!!
Q: Can I tie the (output - ) and the ( charge - ) together and use this as drop in replacement for a lbacid cell? Can i then put 2bps in series for 24V?
A: NO, it will damage the board
Q: What gauge is 5P-250mm wire? I've searched everywhere and can't find it.
A: 5P is in reference to the total number of wires on this ribbon, 250mm is approximately 26 AWG gauge which can carry approximately 2.5 amps for short runs
Q: I have 1 lifepo4 battery has 12 volts and 100 amps total has 8 terminals 4 cells is this bms compatible with my battery or do i need a different bms?
A: Yes it will work since it changes 4 cells max which is what you have. note that it charges at 10Amps
Q: Will this work with lithium polymer batteries and does it limit the voltage to 12v? ( 4.2 x4= 16.4 )
Answer: Yes, it is used for 4 series 12V LiFePO4 batteries, charging voltage is 15V. See More
