Connected control - This hammer drill/driver features connectivity (module sold separately), which links users to a connected device via the Bosch Toolbox App to customize settings and receive feedback. Users can customize the drill/driver adjusting the KickBack Control sensitivity and length of the time the LED remains on after trigger release. It has two speed settings one for high-power tasks (0-480 rpm) and one for high-speed drilling (0-2, 100 rpm).
KickBack Control - To detect unforeseeable binding situations and reduce the risk of sudden tool reactions, the Bosch GSB18V-975C hammer drill/driver is designed with Bosch's KickBack Control technology, which uses an integrated sensor to automatically shut the tool down in a bind-up scenario.
Brushless efficiency - The drill/driver has an efficient, maintenance-free brushless motor. It delivers strong performance, providing up to 975 In. -Lbs. of max torque and 0-31, 500 beats per minute (bpm), at only 3.4 Lbs. (tool only, not including battery). It can handle tough metal and masonry applications.
Less fastener damage - For more accurate fastener driving, reduced overtightening, and less cam out, the GSB18V-975C provides a precision clutch with 25 settings. Not only will the user have fewer damaged screw heads, there will be less wear and tear on the tool components. Its durable all-metal chuck uses a high clamping force to stop drill bits from slipping during high-torque applications.
