This PCIe x4 expansion kit converts standard PCIe slot to SFF-8643 Mini SAS HD interface, paired with matched SFF-8643 to U.2 SFF-8639 cable to connect 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe SSD for storage capacity upgrade.
It supports both PCIe 3.0 and PCIe 4.0 specifications with full backward compatibility, delivering ultra-high bandwidth for large file editing, 4K/8K rendering, gaming and enterprise data storage.
Strongly compatible with mainstream motherboards including ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock and Supermicro consumer & server boards. No extra driver required under Windows 10/11, Linux, VMware ESXi and CentOS systems, supports NVMe boot.
Comes with standard full-height metal bracket for stable installation in all ATX/MATX tower cases, ideal for DIY gaming PC, workstation, NAS and small server storage expansion. Only for NVMe PCIe U.2 SSD, not compatible with SATA/SAS hard drives.
