The 12+6Pin and 17+7Pin SSD can't work at same time. You need use the switch to convert it.
SATA to MAC Storage adapter, providing one 7+15pin connector on the host connection and two 12+6Pin and 17+7Pin connector on the SSD storage devices connections. When assembled, it can operate in a variety of operating systems.
About the disk format: MAC format SSD only can be read at MAC-OS, You can format it as FAT/NTFS at "Disk Management" for Windows OS.
Can work for all 12+6Pin and 17+7Pin SSD.(from 2011 to 2013 early MAC SSD)
