1.Most devices have a surge (when first turn on) much higher than the operating amp rating. E.g, a motor with a 20 amp rating may have over 20 amp surge, and you will need a more powerful transformer.
2.It requires an AC input and the output is also AC, providing an AC power supply.
3.The inductive load that the ac variable transformer represents is not compatible with most GFI circuits and they will trip the breaker. Not equipped with an isolated transformer.
4.The lower the output voltage regulation, the smaller the output power and the smaller the load power.
5.Before powering on, connect the ground wire to the regulator housing and point the handwheel to "zero". After the power cord is plugged in, do not touch the metal connector and heating wire. Please unplug the power plug before the replaced electric wire touches the metal connector.
6.To ensure safety, please power on the transformer for 15 minutes before connecting it to your appliance for use.
7.For capacitive load, just leave enough allowance on the rated power capacity of the unit to avoid overloading.
