GFCI has two buttons, TEST and RESET. TEST button: test whether the GFCI function is working properly before use. It is recommended to test once a month. RESET button: When the outlet triggers the leakage protection, the RESET button pops up and the outlet will be turned off. Pressing RESET will re-energize the outlet. Green light on: RESET button pressed / it tripped (normal operation). Light off: no power supply/wrong wiring (check LINE and LOAD wiring)/failure (replace with new ones).
