Lightly shake toner to evenly distribute the toner inside the cartridge and remove protective cover from the toner.
Put the new toner firmly into the drum unit. If installed correctly, the lock lever on the drum unit will lift automatically.
Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit by gently sliding the tabfrom left to right and back several times. Then make sure you return thetab to its home position. If not, printed pages may have a verticalstripe.
Install the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly into the printer & if you are installing a new drum unit, please reset the drum counter. When you replace the drum unit with a new one, you are required to reset the drum counter. Please follow instructions provided with the drum unit to reset the counter.
