How to choose a power supply?

1. Determine your required wattage (Most LED strip lights display this as watts per foot, other products may in the instruction or description)

Please Note: This transformer can supply 24W of power. The 16.4 ft strips of 300 Units 2835 LEDs is 20W. So, is OK. However, you can not go up to 16.4 ft strips of 300 Units 5050 LEDs unless you have some LEDs that require less power (fewer Watts).?The consequences of hooking too many LEDs would be overheating of the transformer and failure of the rectifier circuit!

2. Confirm if any special requirements you have (Should it be weatherproof? Should it be portable? Should it with Indicator light?...)

3. Double check! Are your wattage numbers accurate. Are your device input (110 AC) and output (12 DC) voltages accurate?
