Instructions for use:
The circuit board silk screen "+" is connected to the positive pole of the power supply, and the "-" is connected to the negative pole of the power supply.
The arc distance of the high-voltage package depends on the power supply voltage and current. For example, if the arc distance is 1cm, you need to use 12V 7A. For 0.5cm, you only need 12V 5A. And so on. (Maximum arc distance 1cm)
Single use time should not exceed 5 seconds, otherwise the chip and high voltage package will be burnt out easily. (Not returned if burned out). 12V power supply does not exceed 5 seconds, 16V power supply does not exceed 3 seconds.
The arc is not windproof, and there will be interference in the environment of the wind (the arc will drift with the wind). The wind is strong enough to disperse the arc, so the influence of ambient wind should be avoided when using it.
Common problem:
1. Question: Why does the circuit not respond when the power is turned on?
Answer: Before wiring, please make sure that the positive and negative sequence of the power supply is correct. There is no response when the power is turned on. Most of the power is not up to the requirements, and the high-voltage package cannot be driven. If the power of the power supply meets the requirements, you need to check whether the distance of the arc needle is within 1cm.
2.Q: Why does the module heat up when it is working?
Answer: Because the driver chip needs to drive the high-voltage package with a large current, even if it only works for a few seconds, it will generate heat instantly. It should be noted that the single use time does not exceed 5 seconds, and the heat dissipation can be increased if possible.
3. Question: Why can I see a purple-blue arc on the needle vaguely after power-on, but not forming an arc?
Answer: In this case, the power supply is generally insufficient, or the arc needle distance is too large. You can first put the arc needle closer when the power is off, or directly replace the power supply that meets the power.
