If you use a monitor stand similar to the one shown in the left image, mounting the Hub this way provides a stable USB hub. It allows for one-handed operation when connecting temporary USB devices. Plus, since it can be mounted underneath flat surfaces, it won't take up any valuable desk space.
When mounting the sliding base, the Nano tape performs best on smooth, flat surfaces. If your target surface isn't perfectly smooth, we recommend using screws for a more secure hold.
Nano tape is generally quite thick. To ensure a perfect and aesthetically pleasing fit, weve thoughtfully designed two grooves on the bottom of the sliding base to accommodate the tape.
The CNC-machined sliding base features grooves on both sides, allowing the Hub to slide in smoothly like a drawer. Both the base and the Hub incorporate a foolproof design, ensuring that they can only be inserted in one direction and preventing accidental push-through from the other end. Once fully inserted, the magnet pads on the base and the powerful magnets on the Hub attract and securely lock into place. This tool-free design makes it incredibly easy to mount or remove the Hub.
The Hub features built-in strong magnets on its bottom, allowing you to attach it directly to any flat metal surfaceno sliding base needed! Metal desk legs, PC cases, or metal stands... the possibilities are endless. As long as the conditions are right, you can place it wherever you like.
