BD-RE Disc, 25 GB, 2x, Silver,10/Pk

Verbatim VER43694 is a 10-pack of 25 GB, 2x BD-RE Blu-ray discs for people who want to record, erase, and rewrite video, music, or data using compatible Blu-ray recording hardware.

Recommended For

• PC users with a Blu-ray writer who want reusable 25GB discs for rotating or updating smaller backups, rather than keeping every backup as a permanent, write-once copy.
• Home-video or media creators who want to burn HD video or audio to physical Blu-ray discs and may need to replace or update the disc contents later.
• People who want a reusable physical transfer or working disc for projects that fit within 25GB, and have a compatible Blu-ray recorder or drive.
• Users who prefer an offline optical medium for occasionally refreshed, non-critical files and are comfortable managing backups as disc-based sets.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For recurring backups of a modest set of personal files, a user can erase and reuse the disc for later backup runs; it works best as one copy among other backups, not the only copy of important data.
• When organizing or testing a collection of photos, music, or other files, the disc provides a reusable way to move or stage up to 25GB at a time; a Blu-ray writer and compatible reading drive are needed.
• For home videos or other HD video files, a user can burn content to a rewritable disc and replace it with an updated version later; playback depends on using compatible disc-authoring software and a Blu-ray player that supports the recorded format.
• For periodically refreshed files that are too large for a CD or DVD, the disc offers a removable 25GB storage option; recording is at 2x, so writing a full disc is better suited to planned transfers than quick, frequent exchanges.
