Before playing or burning cd/dvd with this cd player, please make sure you have corresponding software on your laptop. For playing software, please
download free software: VLC media player or Kmplayer. For burning software, please
download free software: Nero.
This dvd drive for laptop can burn dvd material from you mac OS since it is compatible, and you would need the specific ISO data files/disk and related software in order to complete your desired function.
With your Mac OS, you would need to find the suitable software compatible with this device and your MAC OS.
For desktop PC, please connect the external cd/dvd drive for laptop to the back-end USB interface, because the front-end USB port of the PC extends outward and the power supply is insufficient.
Please must set region code to #1 to play USA discs. (Device Manager> Right-click DVD/CD Rom> Properties> Area)
For Mac OS, use the mac command to eject disc.
