This is for a professionally remanufactured OEM factory 6 Disc CD truck and van radio that has been upgraded with a 3.5 mm auxiliary input on a pigtail for use with any music device with a headphone jack.
Please Note: Although this radio looks similar to the model used in cars such as Impala and Monte Carlo, it is electronically different and will not pair when taken to the dealer for unlock. It is designed for use with trucks only. In addition, many of these vehicles came factory with various sound systems which use non-interchangeable radios so please confirm that this is the correct model for your vehicle before purchase. The Aux Input is a snap to operate... literally! Just plug in your 3.5 mm cable and it will play in full, crisp, clean quality. When you want to listen to the radio again, simply unplug the cable! The audio is full quality and takes advantage of all sound controls on the radio. Forget those shoddy FM modulators and listen to music the way it's supposed to sound! This radio has been cleaned, upgraded, serviced as needed and thoroughly checked. All light bulbs in the face of the radio have been replaced and are brand new.
Please Note: This radio will need to be unlocked upon installation in your vehicle. It can be put into a fully functioning test mode for 10 minutes at a time but will need to be taken to a dealer for permanent pairing. This generally costs around $50 but will sometimes be done for free if you have a relationship with the dealer as it is a 5 minute process. Please make arrangements before purchase.
