Hertz Pure Marine Certified, the HEX 6.5 M-O speakers are engineered to withstand demanding marine conditions. They feature IP65 water protection, UV resistance tested to ASTM-D4329 standards, and salt-fog resistance tested according to ASTM-B117 standards.

The 6.5-inch coaxial design delivers balanced audio with 50W RMS and 100W peak power handling. A frequency response of 50 Hz23 kHz helps reproduce low-frequency warmth, clear mids, and detailed highs. The shallow mounting profile makes these speakers suitable for installations where space behind the mounting surface is limited.

The high-efficiency tweeter is developed using FEM simulation technology to improve off-axis sound dispersion. A 13 mm PEI dome tweeter and neodymium magnet help reproduce high-frequency detail, while the woofer's high-density ferrite magnet supports controlled midbass performance.

The polypropylene woofer cone incorporates UV inhibitors to help resist sun exposure. Silicone-insulated lead wires, nickel-plated corrosion-resistant terminals, and a sealed built-in crossover support dependable operation in marine environments. A resettable solid-state protection circuit helps protect the tweeter.

The sound-transparent mesh grille provides a clean finish while allowing sound to pass through. Its twist-and-lock mounting system helps keep the grille securely in place.
