Memphis Audio PRXS1024 10 Power Reference Car Subwoofer

The Memphis Audio PRXS1024 10 2 or 4-Ohm Power Reference Series Subwoofer is designed for peak power handling of 600 watts and RMS power handling of 300 watts. The black on black polypropylene cone is double stitched for durability, and the butyl rubber surround provides enhanced sound quality. The subwoofer has selectable impedance design to optimize performance with different amplifiers, and features DVVC Direct Voice Coil Cooling technology for superior heat dissipation. The reinforced spider shoulder ensures long-lasting use.

The basket is cast from aluminum and has venting holes to help cool the driver. The dust cap is fiberglass reinforced and the surround is stitched foam. The heat sink is aluminum and dissipates heat from the voice coil. The voice coil is copper-clad and has four layers. Its cooled by direct venting to the outside world.
