Our VAST technology increases surface cone area by up to 25%, and our Kevlar fibre reinforced paper cones deliver bass impact you can feel. Standard sealed and vented enclosures work best. The P1S4-15 15 subwoofer was designed by Rockford Fosgate engineers to deliver the kind of deep bass you want in your car. Its responsive paper cone is reinforced with the same Kevlar® fibres used in bulletproof vests, giving you the best of both worlds: warm bass with a lot of punch. To attach the oversized rubber surround to the cone, Rockford Fosgate uses a new technique that increases available cone area by 25%, allowing this sub to push more air for even more bass.

The P1S4-15 subs extended pole piece and bumped backplate allow for more heavy excursion, allowing it to reach deeper lows without bottoming out. This subwoofer can be used in a sealed or ported enclosure, giving you the flexibility to choose the type of bass you want for your system.
