The EDU61001 Leonardo da Vinci Mechanical Drum is a cart equipped with
an amply sized drum.
When pulled or set in motion the gears turn the two lateral drums which
are fitted with peg cams. These pegs move ten sticks (five on each side)
that in turn beats the drum. The pegs could be placed in various
positions to alter the rhythm of the music.
The scientific genius of Leonardo da Vinci is brought to life through
this articulated model. The invention that inspired this snaptogether
replica is taken from the pages of Da Vincis priceless and
aweinspiring notebooks. All models are made of plastic and require no
special tools. Manuals are very educational and teach how these
