Featuring full-size, semi-weighted keys, SRK keyboards deliver more than just the feeling of a real keyboard. With eight RGB backlit velocity and pressure sensitive performance trigger pads, eight assignable knobs, two assignable pitch bend and modulation touch strips, five buttons for MMC (MIDI Machine Control), and six double function buttons, SRK keyboards cover a huge spectrum of applications beyond those of ordinary controllers.
SRK keyboards are ready to be connected and played right out of the box, with virtually no setup needed. Simply connect the keyboard to your computer using the included USB cable and the keyboard will appear as a simple MIDI device, with one input port and one output port. Select the SRK keyboard as the MIDI input device and your software will receive notes and controller data from it. It's that simple. Some control functions, such as MMC, will require manual mapping (refer to your DAW's manual for instructions).
In addition to its robust control feature set, versatile I/O options are another strong point for the newest Stage Right MIDI controllers. The USB port not only allows for the control of software instruments in a connectedcomputer, but also acts as a MIDI to USB interface when the MIDI port is used. All SRK keyboards can be powered by the USB connection or using an optional 5 VDC power adapter (not included). Finally, two assignable pedal connections round out a complete set of I/O options missing from other comparable controllers.
