Featuring carefully selected drivers that deliver a flat frequency response in the listening window, the THX-LCR features two 6.5" woofers, a 2" silk dome midrange, and a 1" silk dome tweeter. The silk dome midrange operated in the 550Hz~1.9kHz range, improving power handling, lowering distortion, and improving the polar response, which allows the speaker to achieve higher SPL. The 6.5" high-excursion woofers feature long fiber pulp cones, NBR surrounds, and are design with shorting rings to keep distortion at a minimum. The combined driver design enables each speaker to reach sonic heights and deliver accurate sound for the best in home theater dynamics and detail.
The THX speaker series feature carefully selected fourth-order Linkwitz-Riley crossover network acoustic filters. This sophisticated crossover minimizes sonic frequency overlap, reduces distortion, and is an excellent choice to minimize off-axis response errors near the crossover frequency.
EASY INSTALLThe heavy-duty mounting tabs make for a fast and problem-free installation. The magnetic, detachable grille is powder-coated in white and can be painted to match any decor.
The Monolith THX Certified in-wall and in-room speakers use the same drivers and crossover components, allowing the speakers to be mixed and matched to suit your room!
