The MegaRAID LSIiBBU08 Battery Backup Unit is specially designed to use with MegaRAID SAS 9260, 9261 and 9280 series RAID controller cards. It protects the integrity of cached data by providing continuous battery power to the controller, in the event of sudden power loss. It allows for higher ambient temperatures, thus resulting in maximum reliability.
