Pros: Basically, this is a great 2.1 system that has come through in every sense that I was looking for to replace my ancient little speakers. What I was looking for: * Something that allows me to fill a medium sized room with clean good sound * Rich bass * Hook-up to connect an mp3 player without having to climb under my desk to unplug the jack from the computer - in other words, a second line-in * Clean appearance * Have the option to turn things up really loud (even if I would never do this, I just like the feeling of having options) * On the affordable side (less than $75) This set delivered on all counts. 5 eggs baby.

Cons: None really. People that complain about the cables confusing them should relax. Setup was completely straight-forward.

Overall Review: If you're bouncing around between reviews wondering which one to get, this is probably the one.

Pros: Sleek and Small with pretty good sound. Cheap!

Cons: The control unit is cheaply made and cannot be unplugged from the subwoofer. This kept me from being able to route the cables through my desk in any usefull way as the control unit would not fit through the cable holes. Notice I refer to it as the control unit and not the "MP3 player dock" - they basically added a chintsy little piece of plastic to hold an MP3 player and you route your own USB cable or what not... it's just a marketing gimmick.

Overall Review: Yes the set has it's problems, but when you take the price into account you really cannot complain about anything - You would be very hard pressed to find a better set of speakers in this price range. As other's have said you need to find the sweet spot between your system volume and the unit's volume to get good sound from them, so spend a few minutes tweeking while listening to some tunes.

Pros: The sub is fairly decent, but this is also a con since it overpowers the weak stereo speakers.

Cons: The speakers are underpowered, and sound pretty sub-par. They are light and feel cheap. As mentioned in other reviews, the "dock" is just a stand for your iPod with a line-in jack on it. It's also the volume control, so it cannot be removed.

Overall Review: I'm still a fan of Logitech, but I think this product is pretty unexciting. I'm used to more expensive systems, so my ears may be spoiled, but I was still hoping for better.

Pros: For the price, these speakers are decent... if they work correctly out of the box. The actual speakers have decent weight to them, but are unstable on the sides if bumped.

Cons: All the cables are built into the volume control unit and are not replaceable, which is unfortunate considering that mine have been making a terrible hissing noise since I got them. The bass distorts at +0 bass at nearly medium volume. I cannot imagine these speakers being very durable.

Overall Review: I am not going to buy another logitech sound system. It would be much wiser to invest in decent monitors for a similar price and ditch the weak sub.

Pros: no problems ever. best speakers for the money. reallly realllly loud. great with a good soundcar (xtreme gamer).

Pros: High highs and sharp lows. This system delivers surprising bass and nice treb. The MP3 player hookup is nice as well. Great price and Logitech warranties are top notch as always

Cons: The MP3 dock is a bit finicky. If you have a Zune, DO NOT install the plastic autodock. You will not be able to get your Zune out of the dock without uninstalling the plastic insert, or without damaging the MP3 usb cable clips. A weighted dock with volume control would be a better option as the cables are awfully short and the dock falls forward all the time.

Overall Review: These little speakers push some serious sound! There is no other system capable of this type of performance under $50.

Cons: Speakers hiss and pop on occasion for no reason since arrival. Logitech support is useless and unhelpful, the "ipod doc" is extremely flimsy,

Overall Review: Make sure you turn speakers off before plugging or unplugging your mp3 player to avoid popping the speakers.

Pros: so far really good and loud clear mid and high range. cant quite hit those really low tones but for the price its pretty hard to beat.

Cons: wish i could find a 5.1 for this cheap with this good of sound
