  • If the hard drive is spinning but not appearing in Disk Management, consider performing a format and repartitioning. It's possible that your current partitioning method may not be compatible with this adapter.
  • The disks should be partitioned before use if they are not already, as this will ensure that the computer recognizes them and they appear in Disk Management.

Why Is My Hard Drive Not showing Up in Windows

1. The hard drive display is not showing up in File Explorer. 

2. The hard drive shows Disk Unknown, Not Initialized, including the new drive.

3. The hard drive displays as RAW in DiskManagement. 

4. The hard drive has no drive letter. 

5. The hard drive has a yellow exclamation mark
