* Requires overclocking/BIOS adjustments. Maximum speed and performance depends on system components, including motherboard and CPU.
Designed for compatible AMD platforms, Trident Z5 Neo RGB is engineered for high memory performance with customizable RGB lighting, making it the ideal choice to build a performance PC system.
- Sleek and streamlined design, available in matte black or matte white
- Customizable RGB lighting support
- Dual OC Profile Support: Intel XMP 3.0 & AMD EXPO™ Memory Overclock Profile
- Do not mix memory kits. Memory kits are sold in matched kits that are designed to run together as a set. Mixing memory kits will result in stability issues or system failure.
- Prior to enabling XMP or EXPO, memory kits will boot at the SPD speed at default BIOS settings with compatible hardware.
- For memory kits with XMP or EXPO, enable XMP/EXPO/DOCP/A-XMP profile in BIOS to reach up to the rated potential XMP or EXPO overclock speed of the memory kit, subject to the use of compatible hardware. Enabling XMP or EXPO is an act of overclocking and requires BIOS setting adjustments.
- Reaching the rated XMP/EXPO overclock speed and system stability will depend on the compatibility and capability of the motherboard and CPU used.
- Usage in any manner inconsistent with manufacturer specifications, warnings, designs, or recommendations will result in lower speeds, system instability, or damage to the system or its components.

The G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB is a 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR5-6000 desktop memory kit with CL36 timings, designed for gamers and PC enthusiasts building high-performance systems with compatible AMD EXPO or Intel XMP 3.0 platforms.
Recommended For
- AM5 Ryzen desktop builders who want a matched 64GB kit for memory-heavy work and are willing to enable AMD EXPO in BIOS to target DDR5-6000; the rated speed depends on the CPU and motherboard.
- Video editors, 3D artists, and other creators who work with large projects while keeping editing, rendering, and reference apps open—and can make use of 64GB rather than a smaller kit.
- Developers who run several virtual machines or containers alongside an IDE, browser, and test tools, and want 64GB in two DIMMs rather than filling four memory slots.
- Ryzen 7000- or newer-system builders who want DDR5-6000 for a gaming PC that also handles streaming, recording, or other apps at the same time; professional testing has used Trident Z5 Neo DDR5-6000 kits with Ryzen 7000 systems.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- Building a compatible AMD Ryzen desktop? Enable the motherboard’s EXPO profile in BIOS to apply the kit’s rated memory settings, subject to CPU and motherboard compatibility.
- Editing larger video projects while keeping reference tabs or other apps open? The 64GB capacity gives memory-hungry editing workflows more room before they have to rely on slower storage; the benefit depends on the project and software.
- Running several virtual machines for software testing or learning server administration? The 64GB kit gives the host and guest systems more memory to share, though the number of VMs it can handle depends on their individual memory needs.
- Gaming while streaming or keeping a browser, chat, and recording software open? The extra capacity can help avoid running short of system memory in busy setups; it should not be expected to raise game frame rates by itself.
- Working across development tools, large browser sessions, and a game or editor at once? The 64GB capacity can reduce memory pressure when these workloads overlap, while the actual improvement depends on whether the system would otherwise run low on RAM.
