Pros: It can be difficult to dig into detail about a product that has a simple goal, works as designed and does so easily. At the time of my purchase, the price was equivalent to slower memory. It has lower and tighter timings compared to most 2400 speed modules which was a big motivator for going with the Trident X. They are Intel XMP ready and if your motherboard is to then its a snap to get it running at full speed. At the most you may need to set the memory configuration in the BIOS to XMP and whamo! It’s overclocked! The memory speed and timings are recognized and you’re ready to rock. Some people report that their BIOS is already set to XMP and it recognizes it immediately. Although its not a feature I needed to take advantage of, I can see the appeal in the design to allow the heat spreaders to come off for a better fit in your case. I’m not one to show off the guts of my PC, but I do like the look of these modules.

Overall Review: You may want to do your own research on what speed and timings work best with the CPU of your choice. I don’t believe my research lead to a definitive answer on whether memory with a slower speed and tighter timings are better with the Haswell over faster speed and looser timings. At any rate, I am very pleased with these modules and I would purchase them again… in fact, I plan to when I’m ready to max my memory at 32GB. Pros: Fast ram. Good heat sinks. Easily detected and ran at rated speeds. Helped me get the most out of a Kaveri 7850k build for a friend.

Overall Review: Used this ram in a kaveri Build for a friend who was on a budget. Knowing that AmD APUs benefit greatly by using fast 1866+ ram I choose this kit to give him the most I could for his budget rig. The MSI A88XM FM2+ board easily set the ram the the intel memory profile so no other settings were needed to get this ram to run at rated speed. Ram heat sinks work well, ram never felt Hot just warm to the touch. Although there is a price premium for this ram for my friends build it helped make a for fast, small effective build. By choosing this ram it helped get much higher frames at 1080p settings compared to 1866-2133 DDR3 ram. When you are using integrated iGPU every once of performance counts. This ram helped achieve that. As always GSkill put out a great product.

Pros: I already completed a review for this product. This is an update because I've had some issues. I'm still working on the issues and my RMA this set of memory. The problems is @ 2400 with XMP profile set I get an occasional BSOD. About one every two weeks mostly coming out of sleep S3 state. Setting the speed to 1866 stops the BSOD. My old 1866 memory never had one BSOD.

Cons: Like I said still working on the issue. Will try upping the voltage

Overall Review: Other than this issue I've had no others. The memory passes all stress tests including Prime95 for 4 hours.

Pros: The G.Skill F3-2400C10D-16GTX is some great memory, I just set it, and forget it,it worked great on my MSI Z87 MPower Max and my Asus Z87 Maximus VI Hero when it presently resides.

Cons: Their is no cons when it comes to G.Skill memory.

Overall Review: I love G.Skill I have been buying G.Skill for more than 4 years and have always been more than satisfied, really its basically its the only memory I buy anymore because it always been stable and reliable.

Pros: This stuff works great. 2400 MHz at 10-12-12-31. Worked right out of the box no questions asked. Cool looking (removable) heat spreaders. This stuff doesn't even get hot after 12 hours of memtest86+ at recommended settings (1.65V) so it probably has a good deal of overclocking headroom I don't really feel the need to explore.

Overall Review: I've coupled this with an i5-3570k. You'll want a k-series (why are you getting this memory with a processor you're going to use at stock settings?) chip because they'll be binned to perform. The IMC SHOULD support 2400MHz no problem. Beyond that, from what I've heard from GSkill and Asus, among others, it really depends on how lucky you are with the chip. If you're going to spend $140 on 16GB of RAM (you can get some basic stuff for half the price) you SHOULD be getting a high end chipset and CPU. USE THIS WITH Z77 ONLY. People are complaining about how this stuff doesn't work with the AM3+ chipset but most people have a hard time getting past 1866. This memory was designed with Ivy Bridge in mind, so stick to that please and thank you.

Pros: Fast as heck, first G-Skill memory I have owned and would definitely get more.....maybe I'll put another set on my Christmas wish list even though 32 GB is overkill for my use! First detected by Bios at 1333 mhz. I am using an ASUS P8Z77 Pro and an i5 3570K Had to change the timing to 10-12-12-31 as stated on the hardware and upped voltage from 1.500 to 1.650 and change memory speed to 2400 manually and it works like a charm
