Fast performance and PoE+/++ out of the box! Small footprint and overall a performance beast for my network

It works exactly as advertised. I got it for $18 on sale which is a great deal for a 8-port Gigabit switch. It has a very solid build quality.

Easy installation. It is a "smart" switch and can provide basic information on port status and VLAN configuration.

Easy to setup no issues

Sturdy Construction - The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the weight of this thing. I immediately knew, this was a solid piece of tech. Most switches have a plastic housing at this price, but it appears TP-Link stepped up. This switch can be sat on a desk or flat surface, as well as wall mounted. 8-ports - You get 8 (7 if you connect to a router) ports versus 5 ports that most other companies offer for the same price. Low Power Consumption - My Kill-A-Watt EZ on showed 3.1 watts being used with 6 ports being used. At idle with no ports, it sat at 2.9. These numbers are slightly better than my Netgear 5-port Gigabit switch. 5 Year Warranty - This is a big plus. Most equipment comes with a 1-3 year warranty. Good to see a company stand behind their product.

No speed loss. Does its job

WHAT!!! All this for $88. Honestly many of the features are found on thousand dollar business grade networking equipment, but this is available at a price we can all afford. It brings private or small business network control into an affordable package. I absolutely love it and am shocked at what I have the ability to do with this. It feels like its cheating.
