WD is one of the best on the market. I have never had one issue with any of their products.

The WD BLACK SN850X 4TB w Heatsink drive is excellent as a fast (6960 MB/s R, 6560 MB/s Wr, in my system) PC boot drive as well as for an additional DDR4 storage drive. My PC boot time is now ~15 seconds faster than the original slug SSD. Snappy general use too.

Price Adequate speed for my needs

you may well defecate yourself when you see how fast this thing is

-Inexpensive -Same read and write as of an entry-level Samsung SSD

Was worried the heatsink would inpinge on the graphics card, and it was close! Check your measurements carefully. As a happy accident it is now catching air off the graphics card exhaust hopefully its a net cooling but who knows. The heat spreader that came with the MB was useless so I'm glad I got something with a HS already attached. sequential read only is even close to 14K, IOPS read though is 4.7 GB! really nice! And you can tell the speed when installing software or moving data.

This 4th gen nvme drive from Crucial claims just over 7000MBps reads and let me tell you, it delivers on that. Same with 6000MBps writes. Construction is solid. The heatsink is big and keeps the drive running cool after hours of gaming. Coming from a slightly older nvme drive that's only 10-20% slower than this one the overall performance is hard to notice unless you're literally keeping a stopwatch to it. For example, loading a saved game from Red Dead Redemption 2 that took 38.6 seconds on my old drive took 35.4 with this one. So it won't be a huge game changer unless you're coming from a gen3 or older model.

Item 100% working.

Never had any issues 6 months later. Does not overheat. No noticeable difference from my 980 or even my older 970. in day to day use.

It's fast. It works great even after 2 years of owning it. I use it mostly as an external ssd for games and it has had zero problems

I wasnt looking for the best leading edge product. What I wanted was a reliable less expensive option to clone my existing main drives as a redundant failsafe. These worked perfectly and didnt break the bank.

well made, great drive, fast, reliable.

Worked right out of the box . No problems
