I own other brands that are fairly good. The main difference between them is durability. After a surge, the Tripp Lite keeps on going. The cheaper units I tried for economy stopped the surge, but the protectors died. That is a big difference.

The plugs are aligned in such a way, that most wall-warts can be used with it, without one crowding out the other. I use this to power my guitar stomp boxes in my home studio. Each stomp-box has their own wall-wart/converter. I am able to run 6 pedals with no crowding, with 2 slots to spare. The Belkin is also built really well, with a long (8'), thick power cord. It is a heavy duty strip. The built-in 2500 joule' surge suppressor is more than adequate for most needs as well, offering good protection for any electronics plugged into the strip. I expect years of trouble-free use.

thin with plenty of plugs. great for the price. big plugs on the side for bulky transformers. and the plug is flat so it fits great behind my bed in my dorm room. and neweggs free shipping is always a good thing.

I've got 8 of these floating around the office and warehouse and they are great! Long cord length, they are very durable since they are metal, works perfectly. Another plus is that most transformer plugs fit on it without any issue and don't block other plugs.

Very rugged product. Been using Tripp Lite for years without any failures during many power interruptions.

Value, quality and it works.

They say you get what you pay for but not with this, you get more than what you pay for, had a power outage that took my whole block down, this baby kept my computer and my flat screen well protected, had this for about a year now and i feel that my stuff are safe with this Surge Protector, :) Also the plug is very awesome, I can push my dresser all the way back without it having to stick out with a big bulky plug. The cord to this Surge Protector is extremely long :0

Needed something better than your standard UPS surge protection for my eGPU and Laptop. When laptop not in use can switch off power to both devices. Works as intended.

space saver, the wire contraption that comes with it actually works wonders as you can just feed the wires through into one giant one and ziptie all of them together and feed them through holes.
