

It works as a standard HID device, so if you can make a USB keyboard work this will work. It also has an awesome stand that comes with it. And if you put the scanner in the stand there is a magnet in the stand that will keep the scanner scanning. So you don't have to press a button to scan the item. Also We have dropped the scanner many times per week onto the floor from about 4-5 feet onto concrete. It's still running after 10+ months.

first one DOA, but in Newegg style - quick RMA and I ordered another one that day. Got it the next day and it worked 'out-of-the-box' no drivers needed for windows 7 pro. Out of 200 purchased, only one DOA - that is a great number.
