The computer was shipped in a big box with some purpose-cut foam padding between it and the box to protect it. The computer inside was decently clean, I didn't see any dust at all and the outside just has a few scuffs that you can expect from an off-lease computer that is a few years old. The fan looked clean. The CPU fan is very quiet, and mine doesn't emit any weird "burn" smells (sometimes a problem with used computers). I can't hear the computer at all. CoreTemp shows highest temp between 25 and 32C on CPU idling on Windows 7, pretty good. Mine came with a Seagate Barracuda 250GB drive. The Windows 7 install it came with on-disk ran fine, was a clean install, and was apparently genuine. I replaced the Seagate Barracuda with a Crucial MX500 SSD to etch out some more performance and then put Windows 10 on it, this is a really solid computer for the amount invested so far.

The unit fired up and is running great for the 2 weeks we have had it.

This machine arrived extremely well packed. The condition was excellent; there were no dents in the case, and inside and out it looked like a brand new computer. All advertised components and features were present. It started right up and it was working inside of 15 minutes. For use as an everyday, basic computer, this deal can't be topped.
