Been contemplating purchasing one of these for quite some time now as I have near 3grand in my gaming rig and finally saw this on a shell shocker deal I couldn't pass up. Am impressed with the run time for my overclocked x99 system. with my monitor I get 41 mins at idle and running furmark and AIDA64 to create max system load it gives me 6 mins estimated, which is not a lot of time but I expect it to be a few years before games or anything else can tax my system to that extent. also this is one of the few units with user replaceable batteries. I also like that it is 5x5 layout with a space between the top two for power adapters.

Operated exactly as advertised. This review unit arrived with excellent timing. The day after I installed it the power here went out for over an hour with several outages the following week! Not only did the BU 600 keep my cable modem, gigabit switch and a high end router running without missing a beat, I was even able to keep my phone charging. Estimated run time with the new battery and minimalist load was 3 hours+. Of course age reduces the battery capacity, but if you use this product in your server room, it will keep your web connections and routers running like nothing happened for at least 60+ minutes Management software is a free download. The unit was detected on my win7/64 laptop USB and windows drivers installed, and then I installed the APC software. No eyebrow raisers there. Wall mounting holes a nice touch. USB charge port @ 1.5amps shows engineers are listening to customers. I'm seeing this all over the business lately. I just bought a nice desk lamp that has a USB charge port on it.

Bought this for the small footprint as it needed to sit in a small space. It was exactly what I was looking for and keeps my Fiber modem and ethernet adapter running for many hours. I like that you can disable the alarm easily and that it was very straightforward to hook up and power on.

This has provided great protection from frequent power outages in my area. The connection software works well and can shut down my computer for extended outages. This is a must have item for anyone who wants to keep their hardware safe. I run it in multiple locations for work and home. I plan on adding another one for my internet hardware soon.

Able to run my gaming computer at max potential with my monitor for 3 minutes or more, enough to withstand a electric blink.

APC has dramatically improved the design of their 1500VA UPS towers to provide longer run-times, and far easier battery installation and swap-out. Setup requires sliding off a small plastic access panel on the bottom on the unit, sliding out the batter module, flipping the battery module over, and then sliding the battery module back into the unit. That's it. There are no power cables to attach. The unit can show estimated run time based on the load on the inverter. As protected devices or lighting are turned off, the unit re-calculates likely running time.

Small and works great for the modem and router and other small power use.

I work in music recording/mixing studio environments and am extremely fussy about equipment that generates noise. I'm pleased to say that after several months of continuous use, this Li-Ion APC rack unit met and possibly exceeded expectations. When in ideal conditions, the unit is literally silent. No fan noise, no hum, no buzz. The only time noise has been observed is either when the unit is charging (due to a power failure) where very minimal self-noise is inevitable, or in an under-voltage condition (117V or under) where the internal circuitry activates in order to boost the output voltage. In comparison to APC's own legacy units (ie: 2U 750VA-1500VA lead acid monsters) which I have been using for over 15 years - they had frequent noticeable cooling fan noise, and could produce undesirable self-noise when approaching maximum load. And anecdotally, I have had one or two units fail over the years and drop the load.

Have purchased several APC UPS products in the past and I was not disappointed with this model. Like the small foot prInt with the outlets located on top. Working great so far.

It's been plugged in and connected at all outlets for about 3 years and I Haven't needed to replace it yet, so I'm buying another one right now. For me, that's about the best pro there is. The unit has a protective cover over the power button, to me that's worth the price of the unit right there...

Does what it says and helps protect my appliances.

-reasonably small -highly configurable -good simple software does what's needed -cheap for what it does

1. It is very well built 2. Easy to setup 3. Perfect for my NAS, high end desktop PC (and graphics card), a couple of monitors, Modem, and router - 20 minutes of operation after loss of power. 4. Can be used to power and to safely shutdown a NAS drive and a network attached PC. 5. Customer service is easily reachable and very helpful
