Overall Review: Along with what everyone else has said, this mobo has the ethernet issue. I have to disable and re-enable my ethernet port on every bootup. Now, two months after purchasing it, the sound card is starting to give up. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this motherboard.

Overall Review: Just constant issues with this motherboard. The only reason I got it is because it was bundled with a 3070 and I can see why they had to bundle it. I have to constantly reinstall the lan drivers and the pc randomly black screens because of a problem with xmp. I needed to remove my gpu and the pcie lock became so jammed i had to nearly break it to get it unlocked. I feel like I was honestly taken advantage of by newegg for bundling this motherboard with the gpu. Do not buy this motherboard.

Pros: -The layout is good, making it easy to install components -Performance is fantastic -Aesthetically pleasing -Plenty of Fan Headers and USB 3.1/3.2 options -I/O looks good with the way the shroud is pre-built -Three M.2 slots with heatsinks
Cons: -The network adapter is hard to get setup
Overall Review: If you are considering this motherboard, you'll need a couple of things. #1. a PCI-E or USB wireless network adapter and driver on USB/CD. #2. An UPDATED VERSION of Microsoft Windows on install disk/USB stick. These will allow you to connect once you get the O/S installed. Without these two things, I had an expensive paperweight with an ASUS logo. After installing the O/S with a newly downloaded installation file from Microsoft (free download) on a properly setup USB drive (instructions on the Microsoft Windows Installer site), I was able to get the drivers properly updated and the board came to life. I thought I had the correct drivers from Reddit going into the build but it turn out that there are other Microsoft software components that needed to be updated. The fix for me was the wireless adapter, and the newly created, bootable Windows Installation disk that I was able to make on another computer. BE SURE YOU HAVE THIS READY PRIOR TO YOUR BUILD OR YOU MAY HAVE A BRICK UNTIL YOU GET THESE THINGS READY. I also, incorrectly thought I had it figured out by having a working ethernet cable wired to the build straight from my modem. I was incorrect. Once the board fired up with the correct drivers, the issues were resolved just fine and the board is amazing. The BIOS has tons of settings. Since I did my homework on the system bus and other components, I set the profile to XMP I and BOOM, my system was running flawlessly and has been now for several days. I would recommend this to people who are patient and who can troubleshoot any installation issues. Once those known issues were properly addressed, the board is fine. I'm happy with it now, I just wish I'd have been better prepared prior to the build. For the amount of time I spent, the value could have been better. BUT, Overall, the system is working very well and I am happy. BTW, the wifi adapter I used to get this board updated and functioning properly was a Ubit AX Wifi 6 PCI-e w/bluetooth. *[I also immediately updated the BIOS once I had the network adapter working] I paired this with -Lian Li Lancool II White Case -Gallahad 360 AIO White Cooler -Intel I-9 10850K -64GB of G.Skill Trident (32x2) D4 3600 TRZ RGB Memory (I may add another 64GB kit) -Western Digital SN750 M.2 MVNe 1TB SSD -ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3070 White Thanks to Newegg Shuffle, I was able to purchase the parts I needed for the build.

Pros: Cons out-weigh the Pros.
Cons: LAN issues. It's 2/10/2021 Installed the board last night, updated windows, BIOS and all drivers. Nothing else to update. Turned on the computer this morning and the NIC wasnt working. Read a few reviews and found disabling/re-enabling the network adapter fixes this.
Overall Review: I purchased this as part of a combo that came with a video card. My son plays video games and I saw this was the only way to get a hold of these RTX3xxx cards. Spoke to NewEgg support about the defective item and they wont exchange the mobo for a different product without me returning the GPU. My only option is to exchange for the same product. Guess I'm stuck with this motherboard that cannot be fixed even with multiple negative reviews.

Great deal with the i7-10700K Avenger CPU combo10/21/2020 9:14:53 PM
Pros: Straightforward installation Plenty of fan headers Seems to be plenty of room for air coolers Standard layout helps when connecting peripherals Substantial heatsinks for VRM components
Cons: RAM module latches at top of board make it hard to remove them while mounted in case A few more water pump headers than necessary. My Corsair H100 AIO uses SATA connector for power anyway. Not confident aux. VRM fan mount has clearance to be usable in most cases or with an aircooled CPU Not sure the M2 SSD heatsinks can actually cool as the SSDs have a sticker on them blocking the TIM (if that's what the soft white pad is on the heatsinks)
Overall Review: This is my 3rd straight ASUS mobo and 2nd with UEFI BIOS. Lots of options for overclocking CPU. Navigating UEFI is straightforward. The EZ FLash BIOS update feature is the bomb. Not a fan of update software that tracks personal info so I opted to download all the latest drivers and BIOS individually. Installation and setup were smooth and quick. Newegg is a bit overenthusiastic with their order notifications. There's nothing but good things to say about the order and delivery service as it was fast and efficient.

Cons: I wish it had more SATA ports for legacy drives.....I also wish the MOBO panel was like the ASUS mobo panels of old which made it a lot easier to hookup. This old man's eyes aren't what they used to be.....
Overall Review: It's a good, solid board. I only wish it had more than 6 SATA ports.....

Pros: Looks nice, seem to work well, at least the parts that work. It overclock my 10700K well.
Cons: The onboard NIC card is defective and that is not much fun to find out after you are all done building your water cooled system. Asus MB support agreed and Newegg is sending me a new one and I sure it is ok.
Overall Review: I have used Asus MBs in all my builds for the last 10 years and have not had any trouble with the other MBs so I guess it is my turn, still very frustrating. I have also noticed there are others with the same issue during my research to fix the issue.
