Pros: Everything is fine EXCEPT the built-in network adapter but you will hate yourself for buying this. I do.
Cons: This Mobo has the Intel I-225V network chipset. It has a known hardware defect. Intel refuses to fix the problem. They have closed out the issue a year after release and still refuse to fix the problem. Do no be fooled by forum posts that this can be fixed. It cannot. The fix is in a newer version of the chipset that this Mobo DOES NOT use. Do not buy this Mobo. Period. There is a "work around" by manually running old firmware and driver but Windows Update will keep updating the driver and keep breaking the network. You must manually roll-back the driver after every update and stay on the old, insecure network drivers. Don't do it. Find a different mobo with at LEAST the I-225V3 chipset.
Overall Review: Don't do it. There is nothing about this board that makes it worth the pain of the network chipset problems. I evangelize Intel regularly but this is a huge fail. Just don't do it. If you're still reading this, you're still thinking about it, and you're a fool. Walk away now!

Pros: Looks nice, seem to work well, at least the parts that work. It overclock my 10700K well.
Cons: The onboard NIC card is defective and that is not much fun to find out after you are all done building your water cooled system. Asus MB support agreed and Newegg is sending me a new one and I sure it is ok.
Overall Review: I have used Asus MBs in all my builds for the last 10 years and have not had any trouble with the other MBs so I guess it is my turn, still very frustrating. I have also noticed there are others with the same issue during my research to fix the issue.
Overall Review: Along with what everyone else has said, this mobo has the ethernet issue. I have to disable and re-enable my ethernet port on every bootup. Now, two months after purchasing it, the sound card is starting to give up. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this motherboard.
Pros: cool except for LAN issue
Cons: Google z490 lan issue
Overall Review: Seems to be a fairly common issue with the build in network card on these and gigabyte boards. Too bad Newegg is still shipping them out. Do yourself a favor stay away until they get it sorted. Yes I updated Bios, firmware, drivers, changed all the settings. Will constantly drop connection, have poor connection etc.

Pros: I'm not a hard-core gamer but I like having options that this board offers. So far so good.....
Cons: I wish it had more SATA ports for legacy drives.....I also wish the MOBO panel was like the ASUS mobo panels of old which made it a lot easier to hookup. This old man's eyes aren't what they used to be.....
Overall Review: It's a good, solid board. I only wish it had more than 6 SATA ports.....
Pros: Clean MOBO. Excellent craftsmanship. Great price for a medium to high tier O.C. MOBO. Excellent packaging, box, accessories, ect.
Overall Review: I really like it. Not to much. Not too little.
Pros: Pros- i run a i7-10700k Watercooled PC setup (hardlooped) this mobo worked no issues
Cons: i did notice an issue with the back panel piece fitting my case which is a raidmax X08 there was some clearance issues and i ended up having to bend the plate where everything plugs into to make it fit my case
Overall Review: overall it's flawless and i haven't had any issues with this MOBO

Pros: Works perfectly out of box, aside from one thing the LAN (in my case). If you're having problems with the Ethernet being disconnected when you reboot, update the firmware. You'll need to make sure you uninstall the ethernet driver and reboot before you run the firmware updater, otherwise it won't update it due to the OS using it. There's a PDF guide included with the LAN driver from asus. Follow the steps and you'll be fine, but this unfortunately is the only way to fix it.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I haven't overclocked my CPU yet, but when I do, I know this motherboard will push all the power it needs. Looks beautiful and would recommend it to everyone on the Z490 platform.
