Pros: Does its job without a hitch. It slid in nice and easy with my Rosewill Blackhawk case. Usually runs pretty quet

Cons: It did get randomly LOUD when i had a CD in there, not sure if its a serious thing or not but it runs so thats All that matter. Just knocking down one egg because of this

Overall Review: Get it if you just need a CD drive to put in your rig.

Pros: Runs quietly and reads disks rather fast, good price to performance ratio

Overall Review: - I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing an optical drive but does not want to break the bank while buying one and would definitely buy another one if need be.

Pros: worked for a few weeks, cheap

Cons: Stopped working after playing the 4th or 5th movie. thought it was the driver issues but nothing i did could fix it. Every time I would insert a disc it would do all sorts of funky things to my pc.

Overall Review: wont go cheap again

Pros: Runs DVDs without issue. LED indicates use.

Cons: LOUD. When spinning up it sounds like the poor disc is being shredded.

Overall Review: I don't care much to have a fancy optical drive. I just needed it to install the OS. For bare minimum needs, this is the way to go.

Pros: Works like a charm, feels very sturdy and hasn't failed me yet. also the time it took to ship was very fast, it only took two days.

Cons: -Is a bit noisy in comparison with both an old LG and another older ASUS, I'm certain it's no defect and the noise does not bother me or anyone else using the system, so it's not a huge deal. I also tend to exaggerate from time to time, so judge for yourself if you pick one up. I just would have liked to see a bit more noise reduction/internal insulation of some kind to help with the reading noise, so it's not quite a 5 egg for me.

Overall Review: It's just your standard disc drive, does what it's supposed to do. I bought this because the small office system I built needed a standard disc drive for cd's and dvd's, this did the trick but there are better drives with wider compatibility out there if you're a tech aficionado. Very satisfied with the product.
