Nice system but with quirky BIOS from factory, update BIOS solves the issue
“ Very nice mini PC barebone, need some work to get it running stable but overall great performance and good thermal, using -20mv 65°C setting, able to keep 8700G very stable and cool, never get thermal throttled using thermalright AX90-36. ”

“ Ended up with this ASRock DESKMEET X300 Mini PC Barebone System, plus: - AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with fan, heatsink & thermal grease included - 64GB DDR4 3200 Crucial (4 x 16 GB) - Replaced the included Intel M.2 WiFi with faster Intel 9260NGW - Reused from a prior computer 2 x 480 GB SATA SSD in RAID 0 as boot drives (FYI: I got the RAID/SATA driver from ASRock site for the clean install) - Purchased external Bailink Hard Drive Enclosure USB to 2.5 3.5 Inch SATA SSD HDD for an older 2TB SATA HDD from prior computer to transfer files to new NVMe SSD - 2TB Samsung SSD 9100 PRO with Heatsink PCIe 5.0x4 M.2 2280 -- I got a PCIe 5.0x4 even though the system only supports PCIe 3.0x4, because this storage device will eventually go into the next computer build. ”
